What kind of grips are on the clubs?

A generic golf pride rubber composition grip. Personally it didn’t matter to me because I just changed them to a grip I preferred.

what is the difference between your aw and gw?

The difference between them is the degree of loft that each club has. AW stands for Approach Wedge and GP stands for Gap Wedge. They are the exact same club. There are many reasons why having a AW is important, to many to explain here... Most experienced golfers use the degree of loft on their wedge to name their club…ie..56 degree club or 58 or 54 etc.
