Torani's Butterscotch syrup is true to the name and has a strong buttery flavor. I make my own coffee at home, so this saves me money (versus buying a $6 drink at a coffee shop). Love to add this to iced coffee - so good!

Ever since SBux started charging me $6-7 per latte, I’ve been on a mission to ditch them and make my drinks at home. After a long foray with English Toffee syrup (also a winner, in my opinion), I gave butterscotch a try. Ding ding ding! This stuff is the best! My new personal favorite. The only problem? It’s way more expensive than the four pack you can get of the English Toffee and Vanilla flavor. I did some research and found that if you are willing to buy at least three, you can find much better deals at other sites. Instead of $15 per bottle and free shipping, I found it as low as $6 per bottle, but $19 shipping (so buy three or more and it starts getting super cheap since shipping stays roughly the same). This is a great flavor, try it!

Makes me feel like I’m getting that fancy coffee shop flavor without the hassle of leaving home, but it still seems a little pricey to me for what it is. It was a lot thinner in texture than I expected and didn’t last long and that’s using 1-2 pumps per cup, 2 cups a day... and the pump wasn’t really the greatest either. The first pump for each cup would be mostly air and the second was full, but if my cup wasn’t directly under the pump nozzle, a mess was made. Flavor was great though. Still debating on buying a second bottle.

This is a great add to any dessert, coffee or cocoa however the price is double what I would pay in town. I could see a mark up of 1-3$ but double?! No thanks, I will buy in town.

So at a small local coffee shop a couple years ago while traveling I had the most delicious butterscotch and toffee (both combined) breakfast coffee. I have wanted to replicate this at home ever since. But this butterscotch flavor has a flavor that is off - hard to describe, but definitely a strong artificial taste. And the syrup is very thin. I've decided to try ice cream butterscotch syrup instead now, and the coffee mixture is better. Not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of this bottle. I hate wasting stuff, but the taste just isn't right. I might try it in a frosting and see how it comes out.

I like sweet flavoured syrups for my morning lattes and I like Butterscotch as a flavour but this syrup really packs a punch. It does smell like butterscotch but it's super strong and sweet so a little goes a long way.
