This is Genuine Sandvik 34 Gauge Kanthal A-1 wire, which is a ferritic iron-chromium-aluminium alloy (FeCrAl alloy) rated for use at temperatures up to 1400ÁC (2550ÁF). The alloy has high resistivity and great oxidation resistance and is used as a heating element in many applications. This is for one 500ft spool.
