It works.
Power went off at my house during a storm. My old remote (Sanyo brand - but otherwise the same exact model) didn't work with the soundbar anymore. Bought a new one, worked without a fuss. Later found out that I just needed to unplug and plug back in my soundbar to get the original working again. Oops. So, I now have two identical, working remotes for the same soundbar. They're light, they're cheap, batteries last forever, and when you click on the buttons, things happen. What more do you want?
