I've purchased the other type that has the rubber grommet located inside the hose bib end which doesn't seem to last as long as the O ring on the male end type . Plus being that these are made of brass , not plastic or brass plated , but real brass , so they tend not to weld themselves onto hoses , hose bibs , spickets or outdoor faucets . Plus when in doubt wrap a couple of wraps of Teflon tape around the male ends so that removal in the future is made possible .

Came quick and works wonderfully.

I really like these, I put them on all my hoses and attachments. However the piece that fits on the hose end has ridges that run vertically. the bottom of one hand held wand sprayer is a little longer than my other attachments, it is not as easy to detach, my fingers slide down on the base. If the ridges went around the hose end attachment instead of up and down you could get more traction to push it to release. The others work much better.

I've bought several packs of these over the years, and they always surprise me. I have never experienced one to even leak! Solid brass, a bunch of gaskets. The gaskets on the male ends tend to degrade a bit over time, but I have still never seen it leak. I bought a y faucet adaptor from a hardware store that has the quick connects, and they're bigger, but complete garbage, leaked right away and we're a nightmare to get off. I replaced them all with these and the leaks were gone immediately. Don't even need to use pliers to tighten or loosen to remove or put on, just hand tight and they're perfect. The funny thing is sometimes the quick connects actually move and doesn't feel secure, but they always are, and don't leak. I have these on every single spot they can go, main water faucet to you adaptor, you adaptor to 3 hoses, and on every hose end going to water head. Definitely buy an extra pack tho, because you'll probably end up like me and put them on everything due to how amazing they are, not to mention the ease of switching out a watering hose end or hose to something else with them.
