Birlea Lynx 6-Drawer Chest-High Gloss, Grey

Looks quite good when finished but what a work up to get it there. The very 1st piece (the top) had damage although I e-mailed Amazon I never got a response, as luck would have it it was on the underneath side and all you can find is a tiny nick as you rub a cloth along it. The instructions were something else!!! What good were they? Not very good at all, it took nearly 2 hrs just to sort they out , you had to make sure the runners for the drawers were the right way round as they looked so similar, then another 4 hrs to put it together. The tiny tiny tube of glue was only enough for 2 dowls, so be prepared to buy more. Only put light weight things in the drawers otherwise you will need some type of support bar on them. As I said looks good when finally finished.

Nice looking when put together. All parts were very dirty when they came out of the box. Instructions on the drawer runners very unclear. says six parts but there are actually 24 and you have to work out which are left and right with only 12 parts actualy say L & R.Also one of the metal fittments actually broke in half while tightening causeing some damage to the drawer front. An extra metal piece was in the pack so I wonder if this has happened before ?? poor quality fittings and cheap plastic handles.

Birlea Lynx 6 Drawer High Gloss Chest - Black  Waste of money... very poor quality, not sturdy at all... the finish of the product is awful, you can see the mdf underneath at all corners and edges. The drawers and handles are flimsy and have fell apart several times. Screws were missing. It was all very dirty when it arrived. It took us 6 hours to build this - the instructions were not helpful at all... I would have sent this product back had it not taken so long to build. We should have went to IKEA, we would have got a better product that is very sturdy for £50 cheaper... I would be surprised if this lasts 6 months.

Looks ok when finished although there were some minor scratches etc but you need a degree in DIY to put it together. The diagrams are minuscule and minimalist and the video tells you 'useful' things like how to unpack the box, nail the back on and fit the door handle - there is no door - but gives no clue how to fit the runners, which is by far the most complicated part. Will not buy from this company again as it took so long to assemble the furniture.

Cabinet is really bad and came all damaged overall very poor and waste of time and money returned !

Great for the money and looks fab only down side is the size of the draws half the size of the unit I replaced as old furniture seem to have been made with a deeper depth, I also bought the 5 draw chest and have ordered the dressing table. Friends built them for me and found it easier to put the draw runners in once the the sides and top were assembled.

Lovely pieces furniture took me 4 1/2 hrs to put together with bed side cabinet also on my own . Very happy with my purchase .

poor quality at a high price, the finished edges on the high gloss are poor, there was an indentation under the high gloss like they just laminated over a big hole in the MDF, and a real pain to pack back up, for £60 less you can get bigger and much better quality from IKEA so we did just that.
