After researching for a long time on what ink tank printer should I be upgrading to from old desktop ink jet cartridges printer. It was a battle between big names, and this product right here caught my eye, the features it offered were extra for the same price as others. If you are looking to upgrade your printer to all in one type with duplex print and auto feeder for scanning, this is the best bet. Setting it up was easy, wifi, Lan, USB works great on all. It's bulky compared to other ink tanks with wifi due to so many features it offers. But be rest assured, it'll become your workhorse. The Borderless prints and the quality of HD images even on a normal plain a4 paper is what will spoil you forever. Pdf printing is a breeze now, booklet printing has solved major office mind peace. No more wasting time printing documents on both sides and scanning one page at a time. It's well worth the money, it'll save so much time which was being wasted playing with old printers, slapping them around when pages got stuck. It doesn't make those squeeky sounds which hp and cannon printer make. It's fast. For sure feels like Japanese people knew they were building a printer that'll work for years to come. Can't comment on ink consumption, will update later. In the meanwhile please check the print images. All in all, if you have the budget around 15k, please add in some more and get this.

The setup was super simple. The instructions were clear and the interface is very user-friendly 4- Convenient features: The automatic duplex printing saves a ton of paper and wireless printing works flawlessly. I can print from my phone using the Brother app, which is very convenient. 5- Multifunctional: It is scan copies like a pro. I use the scanner for both documents and photos and the quality is superb. Now let's talk about Cons. 1- Slightly Bulky: It takes up a bit more space than I expected, but it's manageable. 2- Pricey at first: It's little more expensive upfront, but the savings on ink make it worth every penny. I am writing to formally report several issues with the Brother printer, model DCP-T820DW (Serial No: E80729A5H901718), which was purchased on 26th June 2025 through Amazon. Product Issues: Printing Quality: The printer’s output is significantly below acceptable standards. Colour prints are marred by visible dots, and the overall clarity and vibrancy are poor. Alarmingly, there is no discernible improvement in quality when switching from "Normal (High)" to "Fine (Best)" mode, raising serious concerns about the printer's functionality. System Time Reset: The printer resets its system time every time it is powered off or experiences a power interruption. This disrupts scheduled print jobs and impacts our workflow efficiency. A technician recently inspected the device and recommended that it be returned, citing these unresolved issues. Delivery Handling Issue: During the pickup process for return, the delivery agent demanded Rs. 50 as a handling charge, which contradicts Amazon's return policy. Furthermore, although we received an email confirmation stating that the return request had been denied, this communication was ignored during the pickup, adding to the confusion and frustration. Customer Service Experience: To add to the poor experience, a call with Mr. Ajit Kumar (Manager, Amazon Customer Care) was abruptly disconnected without a satisfactory resolution. This unprofessional conduct reflects very poorly on Amazon’s commitment to customer service. Request: Given the above, I request the following: Immediate return and full refund or replacement of the faulty unit. Clarification and compensation for the improper Rs. 50 charge. Formal apology and assurance of better customer service handling in the future. This experience has been highly disappointing and far from the standards expected from a reputed platform like Amazon. I urge you to look into this matter seriously and resolve it promptly.

Better than 820 model, speedy print, picture quality also good

So far so good, worked as expected, easy setup using mobile phone and watching a setup video, it will be easy if you're have patience and you used printers before if not there is setup videos online, shows you how to use the printer and eventually you will figure everything when you use the printer The printing quilty, was very good as expected from this printer , of course there are better qualities in other printers, but you get alot of features , in good price and even in a glossy paper the printing quilty was amazing , it was detailed and colorful and when it comes to the printer if it can handle heavy load or not ? (not tested yet) but based in my first use I think it would This printer is very good for daily home use, or for a student, and with easy mobile app and various features If there's any updates I will post again here.
