Easy to setup and clamp onto the boat at the launch. The stalk breaks down so you can toss all the parts into a box for storage when the sun rises. Bright enough to lighten up the boat in the dark.

These will fit perfectly on any boat with a little bit of area to clamp on. I had to install a L bracket for the bow and the stern because these would not stay put even after fully tightening down because the surface wasn’t flat. The product itself is as described, still working after almost a year, just don’t leave the batteries in them for extended periods, this was my 2nd set in 3 years because these 1st ones the batteries busted and corroded the metal components inside!

Everything about this product is PERFECT except for one glaring problem. The white stern light flickers when boat vibrates. I tried everything everything under the sun too fix this problem and I think I found the solution. You have to remove the rubber gasket seal where you screw the battery cap. Then you have to screw it VERY tight. I think the problem with flickering is due to poor or loose contact. Tightening strongly with the rubber gasket still in on doesn’t work. You have to remove it. Unfortunately this also removes the water seal so it’s no longer water proof. Other than that, the LED lights are very bright considering they run on AAA. They’re also very solid. The clamp is metal. This is an upgrade from their previous models which had plastic clamps that broke. I use mine on a 14’ aluminum Loweline and it suits my needs.

Best lights for a jon boat just needs batteries so you don’t have to wire anything up super light pretty good size not to big definitely would recommend

After only a few uses (maybe 5 times within 6 months), both the white and red/green lights fail to operate. It appears to be some sort of defect with the switch, because if you jiggle it, the light briefly goes on. Also, if you rotate the switch/battery cover just right, the light sometimes illuminates, but then later flickers out. Also, even in the off switch position, the light will sometimes stay on at about 1/20th of the fully-on brightness. I called the manufacturer and tried to purchase just two new switches (I was past the short warranty period), but the polite person said they do not have replacement parts, as they buy the entire assembly from China, so I would have to replace the entire set at full price instead of being able to purchase replacement parts for their defective components.

Overall, a great product. The clamp feels heavy-duty, and the light appears to be high quality (though I haven’t tested it on the water yet). My main concern is that I had to make a trip to the hardware store to improve its functionality—never a great sign. Specifically, the screws used to attach the clamp to the white light needed nuts to stay secure; otherwise, they slid right out of the vertical plastic mount. Suggestion for the manufacturer: Please consider spacing the bolts slightly farther apart and including two nuts to properly anchor them in place.

Perfect for my 12 foot boat. Used them this past Thursday night, worked great.
