I’ve had this red light belt since 2021, and it’s still working perfectly, even with a LOT of use. I use it for back and neck pain- muscle related soreness, and every time I feel so so much better! I’ve recommended it to multiple family members as well as friends- it has helped everyone that I’ve ever let borrow it! I would buy this over and over, but luckily I don’t have to because it still works like a gem! I seriously love it.

To be realistic, everyone wants a quick fix and trust me I am part of that 50% that wants a quick fix. I like the idea of red light therapy because it is warming but do not utilize this for weight loss. Weight loss takes commitment and just utilizing Red Light is not going to do it. I am not saying this to be mean because I am a chubby girl! I have an ankle injury and I placed it around my ankle which feels good. Other areas it does not do any reduction to the skin, if you use it for the 20 minutes and don’t keep pushing the button your skin should be fine. Unless you are sensitive then you may want to monitor a bit more. The unit never got too hot which is nice. The lights are not overly bright, but you still don’t want to look at them direct. I think for the price it’s a great try and just for the relaxing part of it, it makes you sit for 20 minutes which if you’re not someone who sits regularly this is a great thing.

I'm six months out of a bilateral mastectomy, with ongoing 'frozen' shoulder problems. I've been using this product for about a month. The belt is very easy to use, has wide coverage, a long cord, and feels very good, while it's in use, draped over my shoulder. The velcro holds it in place well. I use it before bedtime, and the pain relief makes it a little easier to fall asleep. But, the next morning and throughout the day, my pain will rebuild. I think expectations need to be tempered with this item, depending on the individual condition. My only suggestions for improvement, would be to shorten the output wire connection (belt to the on/off switch), and maybe re-add that length to the (input) wire that plugs into the wall: The on/off switch box is a bit too long from the belt to my hand; the excess wire length coils around, and isn't very useful. However, I do love that altogether, it's a long cord length. Glad this product's worked so well for some, but it's effects are only temporary for me, after a month's usage. I'm hoping with more time, it'll have more of a positive effect on me.

I have owned this for about 6 months. I looked for many devices of light therapy in the red and NIR range, and wanted to be able to use it for many things, face (skin anti-aging/teeth), shoulders and chest (lung healing), immune system (full body), sometimes back, and more. The same number of lights - quantity and wavelengths, is usually much more expensive (knowing that spending $40 would get me junk, I needed to find quality), so I decided to try this one. With cheap devices, there is no good guarantee of calibration and potency. Even if they report a certain amount of nm/cm2 or joules (irradiance, energy potency emitted), it is not required to meet that within a tight range. This device has the higher potency heading toward the expensive quality devices. So even if it is off a bit, it will still be high enough to be medical grade. It is a winner for value, even though you have to work with the shape. More expensive ones are shaped for specific areas, but I did not want to buy ten different devices. This one can work for all areas, if you are creative. For knees, it is too long to wrap really, unless you curl the long tail backwards, which I have done well enough. Or you can simply lay it across the knee and weight it down on each side (with a can or book for example, or a small weight). For face, I curl back some of the excess length, and then wrap it around my head (with the tail curled outward to not block lights) and lay down (good for start of sleep).. So I thus make a circle or cylinder around my face. Equivalent devices are several hundred dollars. If you want to treat depression or risk of other issues like dementia, get a binder clip, lay the device over your skull, clip in the front as if you were tying a scarf under your chin. For chest / lungs / stomach, lay it flat over your middle, and if sitting, just tie a belt around your waist. For shoulders, simply wrap the entire thing around your front and back high chest area. For back, you can use it either direction, and if using flat lengthwise, you can either lay atop it, or tie a couple of belts around your waist and under arms to secure it for the session. I am very happy with this device. It works to use it many ways, for many size bodies, if you want to get quality at a budget price. Or go spend several hundred for each body-part version for this many lights and wavelengths and irradiance potency...

After reading two books on Red Light Therapy, I decided I'd try it out. The first time I used it, it seemed to help a bit. So I thought I'd keep on using it to see if my sore back would improve. Unfortunately, after that first treatment, nothing got better. It supposedly also helps with arthritis but I've had no relief from that using this device. The only possible relief I've gotten from this device is the warmth from the red lights but in terms of any permanent relief, there has been none. I should have bought a $20 heating pad instead of this $180 heating pad.

I purchased this almost a year ago and I have other red light therapy devices. This has been my favorite. It is versatile and can be used on almost any area. I use it on the highest setting and its light seems stronger than my other devices. I was also happy with customer service when I had a question. I will definitely buy another of DGYAO products for red light.

This was a replacement for one that broke and now it is doing the exact same thing. Just not worth the money considering it isn't working fully anymore and the plug ins are breaking and wires are exposed. and now I have missed time to get an exchange or money back .They replaced it and it has happened again. Now I need help getting it replaced again. A lot of money for something I am afraid to get shocked over due to the cords both being exposed. I would think they would want to fix the problem and not ignore this if it keeps happening

I found this product in a desperate search for something to relieve my grandmother’s back pain. Between working extremely hard from her youth to now (age. 78), a spinal fusion, severe arthritis, and multiple replacement surgeries, the pain she felt on a daily basis was unmanageable. After being turned away from multiple doctors being told there was nothing they could do; I turned to google! After reading about red light therapy, I found this. If you’re hesitant like I was at first, DON’T BE. Her pain is almost completely gone, and her quality of life is back to normal. She is able to do as she used to, and I catch her telling all of her friends about it! She had given up, thought this pain was her new normal, until now. She even calls it her miracle worker!
