Quality tools, all chisels were sharp well made

This is a great set. The only issue is getting the case to close completely, but that is not as important to me as the actual chisels. Love the extra items that come in and the ease of the sharpening tool. Letting my woodworking friends know how much I enjoy this!

Fresh out of the box the chisels have a really big burr you have to get rid of but it does come with a sharpening stone otherwise they are great tools for the price

So I stepped in the Quicksand of 'rounding out my woodworking tool basics' :)))) like SOO many fools before me and I got to the 'having stuff to maintain and sharpen the blade stuff'. Nothing inherently wrong with that and as I was looking on Amazon as how best and most economically to get that all covered I came across this Set. It popped up $5 :/as I was considering it, but metal tool prices do seem to be rising and it still seemed the way for me to go. If you are squared away with the sharpening elements this probably isn't for you. But if your at the point of needing to expand your capabilities this is a great consideration. The Case is Really well thought out and folds very thinly. I guess the question is whether in your shop you would keep the tools in this case. If you are doing remote work I'd say it's Fabulous. Now for me, if I assign a GOOD price to all the Kit's elements it comes out to the new $55. And that figures a very reasonable $3 apiece for the Chisels. But no matter how nice this set is, it's Totally about the chisels. I haven't got to use them yet, but they seem fine. Good edges and sharp. I like the big handles. I think having the strike cap connected to the full length Tang is good, seems like it would give a more solid and controlled strike. They are CR-V and seem very good, but as of now I can't speak to it one way or the other. I was so impressed with this Kit that I wanted to get a review on it out as it didn't have comments when I took a chance on it. Cool, so far!

It’s good set of chisels, there are some useless items like the mallet (it has no weight and will probably break if used) but all in all worth the $

I recently got into woodwork with my Stepdad, we have our own projects every now and then but he's always busy so I decided to buy something for myself and this did not disappoint! Chisels look great even though I haven't tried them and there are so many sizes, not to mention you're also getting even more tools you probably didn't even notice or think you wanted. I'm 100% sure I got my money's worth with this, no doubt!

This is a really nice set. My husband really likes it nice gripping handle very sturdy
