Absolutely beautiful formula! Pigmented, opaque, dry down completely smooth!
This comes in a nice outer product box. It is made in Italy. The ingredients are listed on the box.You get 3 small tubes. The tubes have some weight to them. I expected them to be lighter so I was surprised! The applicator is a doe foot applicator that has a tear drop shape.I had previously gotten an eyeshadow palette from Kevyn Aucoin that came with a cream foil eyeshadow and was impressed with the cream eyeshadow. It was pigmented, opaque, and when it dried down fully it wasn’t thick, flakey, or crepey looking like a lot of liquid eyeshadows can be. So, I was excited to try more colors! You get -“Blazed Up” - A bronze shade.“Millennium” - An iridescent, pearly white shade that looks like it has a hint of peach in it.“Euphoric” - A plum shade. This is probably my favorite shade! It’s so pretty! It’s like a mix of plum and brick red. They are all so creamy and opaque. They glide right on. I did a photo showing swatches of each one on my forearm. I just took the applicator out and swiped it onto my arm, spreading it evenly. You can see how pigmented and opaque each one is! I love I don’t have to try to layer these to get that kind of opaque color. Maybe that’s why these ones are so smooth looking when they dry down. A lot of cream eyeshadows are either thick and end up looking thick, flakey, or crepey on the lids or they aren’t opaque enough and you need to do a couple layers, leading to them looking thick, flakey, or crepey on the lids. These aren’t like that at all! They are pigmented and opaque. They’re creamy. They dry down fully and look smooth, not thick, crepey, or flakey at all! I love the formula! For “Suggested Use” it said “layer with KALEIDOCHROME ALL-OVER HIGHLIGHTER PALETTE or other powder eyeshadows for a customized ultra-reflective finish. The formula helps adhere eyeshadow to lid for minimal fallout when used as a base.” I have the Kaleidochrome All-Over Highlighter Palette, so I decided to layer a couple on top of these to see how they worked. I put the light pink shade “Super Cosmic” from the highlighter palette on top of “Blazed Up,” which is the bronze cream eyeshadow. I took the gold organish shade “High Watt” from the highlighter palette and put it on top of “Millennium,” which is the pearly cream eyeshadow. Then I took the purple, pink, blue shade “Space Party” from the highlighter palette and put it on top of “Euphoric,” which is the plum cream eyeshadow. I made sure to start and end the layer of powder highlighter before and after the layer of cream eyeshadow so you can hopefully tell what it would look like on its own without being layered on the cream eyeshadows. You can see it did give them each a different look!Overall, I think these are beautiful! They are creamy, they glide on easily. They are pigmented and opaque. They dry down fully and don’t look thick, flakey, or crepey when on the lids. They look completely smooth. They have a beautiful wet, metallic, foiled look to them even once they dry down fully. You get a good mix of colors with the pearly white, the bronze, and the plum shade. They also work nicely as bases when you layer other shadows on top of them. I think these are great and if you’re someone that loves cream eyeshadows, especially when they’re pigmented, opaque, and look smooth after drying fully, I think you’d be really happy with these!

Impossible to work with
I’m generally a fan of Kevyn Aucoin products, they make some of the best contour shades and formulas money can buy. And there blushes are top notch as well. So I was excited to try out these Kaleidochrome cream shadows. But unfortunately I’m not a fan of these. Initially they have awesome pigmentation and are creamy, they also seam like they would be a breeze to work with… WRONG! These are a nightmare to work with!I am used to creme eyeshadows that dry down fast, it’s something that your learn to work with when it comes to these types of shadows. But these dry down super fast and super patchy. In fact I had a hard time all around with these. I tried blending them out the first few times, and that didn’t work out. They dried down so fast and even when I could get them blended before it dried I was left with extremely patchy spots and glitter everywhere. Then I tried laying down full lids of color without blending. These again dried down crusty and patchy with glitter everywhereIt’s a shame because the colors are gorgeous, but they just don’t look good on. I’m fairly confident in my makeup skills and have used dozens of other cream shadows. After many tries with these ones I am now throwing in the towel since I just can’t get them to work.

Not impressed
Had high expectations for this, unfortunately it wasn't that great! No where near what stila carry's, but I gave it a try.

Difficult. Doesn't blend.
Off the top, I'll say that I may be the outlier among other reviewers, because I really wasn't a huge fan of these. I found them really difficult to work with and basically impossible to blend. So, I've used similar products before, but none that went on quite so thick. I had to do a LOT of trial and error with these before I found an application method and blending technique that left me with a result I could live with. It's worth saying that I never really ended up with a look that I LOVED. Just a couple I didn't hate.I think my main beef has to do with blendability. I tried blending with my fingertip and with a brush. I tried when the product was still wet. When it was dry. I tried blending multiple colors from this set together and I tried blending one with my favorite eye shadow powder. From all this I learned, first and foremost, don't even touch it unless it's completely dry. And once it's dry, good luck blending any of it out. Or away. Or with anything else.I will give this product credit for its staying power, though. It was ON THERE. I didn't notice any fallout or transfer or even really any creasing after wearing it all day. Which, I mean...if I'd loved my look, would have been even more amazing. It was really hard to get off without a double-wash with an oil-based remover, though. If that's your normal routine, it's probably no big deal. But I usually just wash with one product that normally removes all my makeup. It didn't get all of this off, however.I wanted to love this. And, frankly, given the price, I feel like I should have. But I really didn't. I tried every different combination of methods and techniques I could think of to make it work for me and I really was never happy with my results. It's not bad. It's just not my favorite. And it is definitely hard to work with. I wish I could give half stars. I feel like 3.5 stars probably best rates my experience with this product. I don't hate it but I don't think I'd recommend it, either.
