For a clockable XLR ( the connector can set to different positions) the build quality is very good, I have a few of the these and no problems.

Perfect for making custom audio cables.The right angle allows me to install my Yamaha CX-A5100 11.2-CH MusicCast Preamplifier home theater AV receiver in a tight place that couldn't be done with standard straight XLR connectors. The multi-angle custom positioning is GREAT. Construction is top notch and includes a rubber gasket sealing ring that makes a perfect fit to the preamp eliminating any loose connection... a nice touch that's a cut above the rest. Works well with professional 1/4" (6mm) audio cable.If you're good with a soldering iron and want to make your own awesome custom audio cables, these will definitely be up to the task. The right angle allowed enough clearance for a cover on the device where they were used. The seven possible rotation positions allowed the wires to be kept out of the way of other cords.

The process and space available to assemble this connector make it really difficult to get all the connections without any bridges, this will be exacerbated if you have cheap small gauge wire. You're going to want some kind of vice, and holding devices to keep everything where you want it, and make sure you plan every step of assembly before doing any of it. I ended up abandoning this connector and paying the same amount for a much better alternative that is designed to facilitate assembly.

Well made. Only thing it lacks is and 180 out position. But with the slight out positions it's close enough for any fit. Very well made and solved a big problem for me on a rack unit.
