My background knowledge of DSP helped me understand the material, but there is a brief intro for basic signal processing. Other techniques such as beamforming, sonar systems are explained in good detail. Easy to read, diagrams are not too good. Reasonable amount of derivation of results to convince me of the results stated. written in 1991, I am looking for a more updated book though.
