This is an eye on the prize statue. This was a very good price via on Amazon plus the delivery was quick and carefully packaged. The statue came inside a nice colorful and regiftable box.At first, I saw some other Kuan Yin statue at Teavana, but it was overly priced. When I was browsing on Amazon, I found the original warehouse or company, and it was a lot cheaper. I took into consideration how much I would be paying overall; it was well-worth it especially since it was free shipping!! Kuan Yin is the Goddess of Compassion; she is often seen in Buddhist temples and she is very popular as well.The statue is exactly what the company had described. Resin, very colorful and detailed, impressive piece that will attract guests, and the fact that it is so marvelous to own in the first place as your own or a gift.My only minor concern was that the leaf she is holding in her hand is not made out of resin, but slightly cracked during shipping. Of course, I think you can take it out fully, and the statue would still look as beautiful as it is.Update: I noticed that Amazon changed the price and doesn't include free shipping, but it's the same price I paid if you were to pay for shipping & handling too.

I was nervous as all get out about ordering this. I mean $80 is a lot to spend on something that may be garbage. All my fears were completely unfounded. This statue is KILLER! The painting of the flowers and ropes of pearls on the outfit are fantastic, the way they made the robes look is great. The detail is amazing. I have been looking at this statue for two days and I find some cool little detail every time I look at it. BUY THIS THING!

The quality of the statue really jumps out - it is beautifully detailed, the colors are subtle and lovely, and the piece really has a regal sense of weight in the hand. It really feels like a substantial and genuine piece of art.My only tiny quibble is that the sprig of Willow does not fit ideally in the goddess's hand, but this is largely inconsequential.

This was not what I was expecting when I ordered it... it was so much better. I wanted to change the theme of my room to an Asian theme and I came across this beautiful statue and I'm so happy I did because the detail and beauty of it is astounding. It's got some weight to it to which is nice. It's a very beautiful statue and definitely catches your attention if placed in the right spot where others can see it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has an Asian theme going there house or for anyone who likes Kuan-Yin. Very very beautiful. I'm so happy I purchased this statue.

This is a very nice piece, but I'm giving it only four stars because it does not have the willow branch for her right hand as shown in the picture; and the meaning of the willow branch is significant.
