Choose between a solid guide rod that replaces the factory guide rod to add some weight to your XDm or a solid guide rod that allows you to use standard (trimmed) 1911 springs. These work great for the 5.25 models

Defiantly worth having!
This little rod makes a big difference in the gun. The weight up front really does help keep the muzzle climb down and makes follow up shots easier and more accurate. The guys as Springer Precision were great to work with too.

Adds noticeable forward weight to the XDM, which helps control muzzle flip. Weight is modest enough that it won't make your gun illegal in USPSA.
