Great flavor, but...
I bought one of those fancy tabletop hot pop sets with dual power for the hot plate and the hot soup bowl. Works really well, and this hot pot soup base is excellent with great flavor. We had a good time, BUT, if I had it all to do over, I would never have spent the money on the tabletop unit: You can do everything with a hot plate and a few dishes for a lot less money...just a thought.
