Good GBA shoulder button replacement
I used a normal 6mmx6mm tactile button which felt amazing but the click was obnoxious. This is a big improvement from the factory mushy button. Feels great and is quiet.

Feel good, responsive, and not unpleasant to work with.
Simple switches, good quality, and they respond well. They feel closer to the switches/buttons used in a lot of the older handheld console and controllers.

Use them for everything!
Very quiet buttons! Good if you don’t like the super clicky ones.

Only 1 of 10 of the ones I received are within spec. Awful.
Awful. I love Adafruit and all they do for the maker community so when I needed a couple of these switches I figured I'd grab these rather than wait 4 weeks for my order from overseas to arrive. I could forgive the inflated "free shipping" price easily enough, however ***only one of the 10 switches is within specs and works cleanly***. A couple of them work if you really mash the switch. I've used these exact switches from other suppliers and know that they don't go to 0 ohms when pressed. The spec (these are OMTEN TSX8855S switches) says these should be 50 ohm max when closed, but the batch I got has a closed resistance of 120 ohm plus or minus 60 ohm in my batch of 10. This value is simply too high to overcome the pullup resistor on my microprocessor. This is likely why some reviews here are "they're great" and others are "these are terrible". Different projects use different pullup/pulldown resistors. Regardless, these are out-of-spec and will waste your time. My guess? They've been sitting in a warehouse with very low turn over and have oxidized to the point of being broken...just like a remote control on an old TV where some of the buttons need a very firm press and eventually stop working. Advice? Do not buy them here unless you *know* that 100-200 ohm "closed" resistance will matter to your circuit. If you don't know, then yes: it matters.

Perfect
fits nicely on a breadboard. note that you'll need to hit the button at the very center.

Totally defective batch
I ordered this for a project and discovered that not one single button was functioning. I double-tested them all on my breadboard and with a voltmeter. When I removed the membrane I discovered the metal "button" pad was missing and only the rubber stopper was present so the connecting pads had no way to complete the circuit.

They simply don't work and could never work
No continuity on tester when applying the electrodes directly to the pad that is supposed to close the circuit
