Works as intended.

It works, but to large for my car, seems much better for a truck, a vehicle with a wider shield

Easy to use and great for keeping hot summer sun out of and cold snow/ice off your windshield. I bought 4 for family members as gifts and have had mine for over a year. I live at the foot of a mountain where it gets extremely cold and icy in the winter. I like that I can just pull off the shield to the sight of no snow or ice remaining on the windshield. In the summer I don't have to deal with a hot steering wheel. The Weather Force is an inexpensive item "worth its weight in gold."

Too small for most trucks. It has magnets built in to secure it to your hood and top of your truck cab. Sadly they use aluminum for most truck hoods these day, so the magnets won't stick. I'm still using my wiper blades to hold it in place. Do yourself a favor and find a piece of plastic to cover your windshield, it's a lot cheaper. PS. I gave it away.

We got a chip in our SUV window that was repaired, but we were warned it could crack and spread. It started to that when we parked in the sun. We contacted insurance about a replacement, but due to needing and OEM window, we had to wait. We were taking a trip to FL and didn't want it to spread anymore, so we bought this. Put in on the windows while we were in the parks and it kept our car cool and the crack didn't spread. We did look odd putting it on, but it worked!

Needing to replace the windshield protectors I purchased last year...the type that is secured by putting an elastic band over the vehicles side mirrors...fair idea, but first hint of wind...it was useless...in a 15 mph wind both our windshield protectors were ripped loose from the mirrors and the units were left useless...I spied these protectors on Amazon...liked the idea that the flaps on the side of the protector secured the unit by closing in the door...great concept and so far seems to work...the magnets (4) one in each corner are I am sure not going to be very effective...but in normal wind conditions (my guess, gusts up to 25 mph should do a good job...the construction appears to be solid, nice looking and doubles in summer months to keep your car cooler on the inside when parked in the sun...I like this unit and glad I bought on for each of our vehicles...would purchase again, and will if they wear out and or if they are ruined...do not hesitate to recommend to anyone in the market for this type of item...by far the best design I have seen to date...If any issues come up, I will re-post, since I have signed my critique on this unit...Peace

Make sure you the cover is pulled taut at both ends and the small magnets adhere to the metal of the vehicle!

Brilliant product easy to use and does exactly as it is advertised, I would buy another two for my families other cars but unfortunately out of stock.
