I know this question is old but to help others that are new to this product let me tell you a better way to answer that question. If you see what looks like sloughing Put a very small amount of water in your hand and rub the area that is producing this stuff. If it turns into a lotion then it’s the product coming off. If it still has the little bits like skin then yes it is sloughing. As far as I can tell it’s not supposed to slough like that And if you were seeing it as the lotion using my suggestion then you might want to use less product because you’re supposed to rub it in and leave it, it should not leave any sort of residue on there it might feel a little bit tacky but otherwise you should not knows that it’s on you only need to use a very small amount

Has anyone used to this on a tattoo? Is it safe to do so?

I don't recommend using it for a tattoo. The ingredients work to help exfoliate skin, which is not something you want on a new tattoo. Plus, it's super thick, which would have a negative effect on healing time for the tattoo.

Could this be used to treat KP on the face?

This is extremely helpful for kp on my arms so I imagine it would work on the face, I’d make sure you don’t have irritation first though and would not use around the eyes

Will this work well with dry patches on men's elbows?

I bought it for a dry patch on my shoulder, but it doesn't seem to work any better than other lotions/creams. It isn't medicated like other Gold Bond lotions.
