We used this on our weathered garden bed. It had weathered one season and we wanted to stain this bed and a newly constructed one, but wanted consistency in color.. this brightened our 1 year old wood bed *almost* to brand new. It is still slightly weathered but close enough we felt good staining both. It looks great! Color is perfect and easy to apply. Would recommend. It is a bit expensive but to be expected for a quality product.

Worked well. Retuened the wood to almost new on first application. 2nd app finished it.

I have used products like this one to clean off the black and ugly from my redwood gates for many years. This product, BY FAR is the best of them all!. It works quickly, spray it on with a garden sprayer, wait just a short time, don't let it dry and then I removed it with a cold power washer. Simple and very effective! IT is SO effective that yes, it will leave the surface of the wood rough and if you want it smooth, you've got to let it dry thoroughly and then sand it to remove that roughness. On my gate, it didn't matter so I cleaned it up and after drying, I applied a sealer/stain (Urethane/clear/flat finish). Came out beautiful and....... WELL PROTECTED!

they kind of messed up some of my elephant ears underneath my deck, and I’m not too sure how it did. It brighten it up a little bit, but not as much as I thought it would now he could be doing what it’s supposed to do cause I am not a trained carpenter, but I think I’d probably just use my pressure washer next time

I used the cleaner and then the brightener and all I can say is WOW. My cedar fence looks brand new and is ready for stain. I would certainly buy this again.

I built a cedar fence and within 6 weeks, it was already showing signs of water and sun damage (graying in areas). I bought this, applied as directed and it did nothing to brighten the wood color. I was very hopeful and now disappointed with the wasted time and effort for lack of results.

Our deck looked so old...not it looks like a million bucks. We followed the instructions to a T, including mixing all the cans at the beginning to ensure uniform coloring. But then the unthinkable happened. We ran out of stain with less than 10 boards to go. I guess my deck was one thirsty....err, deck. :) We had to order ONE more can. It did a great job except the pigment is slightly lighter. Even after an additional coat. You can absolutely tell where one stops and the other begins. Not their fault, though it does make me wonder why the pigments are THAT different if it is the same product....Then again, I couldn't even calculate how many I would need so who am I to judge?! Buy it. You'll be glad you did.
