I would highly recommend both for the kids and the grown ups. Easy to understand for the people who cannot read the full Mindset book by Carol Dweck. Even if you have read that book, good to reinforce the idea.

This book is truly FANTASTIC. I've been reading it to my son for the past year and he loves it. It not only teaches children how our brains operate, but also how WE can control our brains. I think this book is invaluable for any parent trying to teach Growth Minset principles. And could also be incredibly useful for Anxious children who need to be shown how to get back in the driver's seat of their brain. The message is effective and has worked wonderfully with my 5 year old.

My daughter bought this book to be the basis of a reading comprehension section of an interview to be a Teaching Assistant in a primary school. She got the job! So this book comes highly recommended! The children enjoyed it and found it interesting. The interviewers said it "stretched their minds" which impressed them.

My 6 year old loves this book and we talk about ‘stretching our brain’ now.
