Small tube, but this is an amazing moisturizer. It is quite rich feeling yet feels light when applied. I’m confused that some other reviews mentioned a strong smell. I don’t smell anything really- maybe just an extremely light & clean scent.

Works great for dry skin.
A Dr recommended this about 3 years ago and I've been using it every day since then. It's great for dry skin, keeps it moisturized without being greasy. Soaks in wonderfully.

My hyper sensitive holy grail of moisturizers.
I used to always have decent skin, but as I’ve gotten older, it’s gotten increasingly sensitive. I’ve tried every moisturizer marketed as “gentle” or “for sensitive skin”-from cheap stuff you can find at a drug store and many people swear by, to ridiculously expensive stuff celebs endorse and NONE of them work for me. My skin will burn, turn red, I’ll get breakouts, scaly patches etc. This is the only one that does not do any of that. I’ve even learned that if I use this as a base layer, I can try other products with active ingredients my skin can’t tolerate normally. I ran out recently and used another brand for a few days while I waited on a delayed delivery and my skin hurts. I don’t know what magic Avene has that others don’t, but I hope they never ever change their formula.As far as everything else-it’s not the most moisturizing in the winter, I layer on some extra stuff then; it’s not greasy, soaks in nicely; it won’t make you look 10 years younger. But if you have hypersensitive skin, give it a try.
