This is for the smaller 2 bulb version, as they seem to put the reviews for both versions together.The system does work as advertised and the 2 watt bulbs put out a decent amount of light. It will run one bulb for 12 hours and two bulbs for 6 hours.Just a few nitpicks:1-The panels are NOT foldable as advertised as there is no hinge. When you attach the panels together using the supplied hardware, it is rigid. So if you need it to collapse into a backpack you will have to remove the 4 screws and hardware. They may have planned to make them foldable but as is they are not. I just used my own wood screws and mounted them to a board as I didn't buy it for backpacking.2-It says on the front panel that it's an 8000mah battery pack, but when I looked online those packs contain four 18650 batteries. This pack has three. Plus the math doesn't quite work out right. If it was 8000mah, the bulbs should stay lit longer than listed. So again, maybe they wanted to use an 8000mah pack, but it was too big for this small case. The three battery pack just fits.So all in all, the system does work and I bought it for emergency lighting, not backpacking. If you've ever been caught in an extended blackout, you know how fast flashlight batteries die. This will give you light for most of the night and recharge the next day. I sure could have used this during Katrina when we were without power for two weeks. I also bought a USB fan to plug into this for some added comfort. You can use the unit while it's charging so if you don't mind moving the panels to follow the sun you can get a lot of daily use out of this during an outage.

This solar light system with Panel kit was one of the first things I made sure to purchase when we built our newest camper. It has everything you need for Super bright lighting indoors & out as the cords are so long for each bulb. Our electronic devices are always charged with the port available for that purpose and there is No need for a large bulky battery taking up space.The Only Con to this setup is that the Lights will Not work while the unit is Still actively Charging, the charging port will Always work, but the lights will Not. You Will need to Cover the solar panel or Unhook it if you need the lights indoors when the sun is still shining.

Works awesome in our off the grid cabin. Has 2 lights and can be used single or double. Battery lasts long with 1 one and great for charging phone. Easy to install and cord are long to reach where needed. Only issue is that you have to unplug solar panel wire if it's charging to use the light in the daytime. My cabin is dark during the daytime so I need light. Not hard, but just a extra step is only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review. Great product !

I had been eyeing a different solar mobile light kit for over a year only to find out when I had both the money and the project ready for it that it had been discontinued by the company. I am so THRILLED that I found this kit as a replacement - not only was it about half the cost of the one I had originally been eyeing thus saving me money, it works fabulously. While I haven't had a chance to install it officially in my new tiny house where it will eventually live with 2-3 more kits that I am planning on buying, I did do a test run and placed the solar panels on the covered deck of where I currently live and attached them to the battery pack and charged it from the time the package arrived until that evening. I then packed away the solar panels and set up the lights in my bedroom and used them it with the battery pack as a test for light strength and for how long the battery pack would last without recharging at all. I would guess that the light gives off between a 45-60W light bulb brightness and worked just fine for me in my bedroom. I mainly used the lights just for getting ready for bed for 2 weeks with one night falling asleep and forgetting to turn them off until I woke up around 3-4AM. After approximately 2 weeks with no connection to the solar panel and running just one light off of it, the battery pack ran out of power. I was very impressed and am looking forward to buying more and getting them installed into my tiny home. I really love that they have actually light switches giving them the feel of on-grid while being off.

I bought these to use in my sustainable she shed. They give off plenty of light in my 200 sq ft place. All the cords are white so they were easy to hide along my walls.The lights last a long time on one charge and you can use solar or electric to charge the base unit. Very convenient. Bonus is has a phone charging port too.You will need a way to secure or hide the wires running from the lights to the battery unit.Very happy with these lights.

Update: this system no longer works as of March. I would recommend the techken solar bulbs that comes 2 to a set - I've been using these for almost a year now with great success and have ordered more to replace this unit.Original Review: I am new to solar anything. I have some single light bulbs with single solar panels that charge them, I disconnect and use the lights anywhere. I bought this particular unit because it was one large panel with one charging station. It was a great idea to have a more streamlined system. My only problem is that I guess I didn't understand the system because I can only seem to get the individual light bulbs to work when the USB is connected to the charging box. Which makes this almost useless in many situations. If powers out (which is why I bought it) I need to be able to place the light bulbs in individual rooms and areas to avoid using candles. The lights are very very bright. I'll keep working to learn this particular system, but I'd like to know if I had the wrong expectations or if I'm doing something wrong.

Light work great! nice and bright! one of the things I wasn’t sure about and almost didn’t buy was because There was no information if they had a dusk till dawn feature but they do the lights have a censor that turns them on at night important information to know that they don’t mention
