Fast for the average brio speed
It's sad that this engine has a single star rating. If you are familiar with the brio world, this guy is fast and it can easily pull 4 extra wagons.

Way too expensive for a very little toy
It is way too expensive for a palm's length toy engine better buy other brandsonly good point is it is exact match for IKEA TRAIN TRACKS (wooden ones)BTW ikea's battery operated engine is less than half price

Mighty big but no action
The engine is big, trust me very big. While climbing it looses traction and can't even lift itself and then turns to free wheel. in tight turns it goes but struggles to pull even 7 cars.Idk maybe the engine I got was faulty.

Major Disappointment
Big bright red engine - son loves it. Handles about 11 carriages on a flat track. Not as many uphill but does the job.BUT four days after being delivered it doesn't move anymore. A few hours of play and it's already essentially dead. Have put in new batteries, lights and sounds all work but doesn't go forward or backwards.Should've check more of the reviews because it's clearly a known issue. Sending it back for a refund.
