Quality well designed HDD enclosure
Bought this to replace 9 year old enclosure. The product came in a nice quality packing with an usb 3.0 cable and power supply. The product is designed well and simple to install. It holds the HDD in place with rubber foam support, no screws for installation. The finishing is good and feels like an expensive enclosure. Looks nice on my desk. It's made of quality plastic. I am very satisfied with this enclosure.

Great case if you need to quickly transfer data from 3.5'' SATA drive
First - it is quality product without a doubt. In most cases with functioning hard drive you will have no issues. You can expect full SATA3 speed. It looks good. Included power supply and USB cable are made well. I don't think this product is meant for 24 hours operation so connecting it as NAS drive may not be feasible but your mileage may vary :-) I think is is USB storage interface that is not suitable for that.I recommend this product to others.Only problem I found, and this is quite niche problem, is with disk that has issues (slow read/write or errors due to technical problems) enclosure does not work well. SATA to USB bridge is not handling disk errors well and it often results in hanged I/O. I suspect bridge is not properly passing errors to host. Anyway it is a minor issue that will not affect healthy setups.

Good speed and connectivity, bad temps!
Setup is pretty straightforward and read/write speeds are good. My only problem is hard drive gets too hot like seriously HOT which will eventually kill the drive. It should have a built-in fan to keep it cool. Not recommended for moving large data without sufficient cooling or atleast a fan pointed at it with the cover off.

I bought it for an SDD that was not working properly.....and it helped me exract the data from it .... and encouraged me to reuse the drive again with this rack
