It Works
After reconnecting the cable on my keyboard, mouse and monitors, Surprisingly it worked. I bought a second one for a colleague.

its working even without the Micro-B cable for power. Mouse, Keyboard & USB to 3.5mm DAC
It works. Sharing keyboard and mouse for 2 windows device works even without the external power Micro-B cable (maybe for External HDD or device that requires a lot of juice to work). I also added a USB to 3.5mm audio DAC for my headset and it works flawlessly. I did get USB3.0 version to make sure i have enough bandwidth so those devices aren't limited. However, i wouldn't recommend using the switch to share an external storage like HDD/SSD/Thumb Drive/SDcard since you need to eject the device 1st before switching to another device. Though for occasional USB thumb drive usage its fine if it happens to be more convenient to use. But again, make sure to eject the storage device 1st before switching as it will damage any external storage device without properly eject it 1st. On my setup, i didn't bother connecting any external storage for ease of use. I tested the hub's speed and i can get 460mbps+ read speed / 320mbps+ write speed using an NVME M.2 External SSD Enclosure with all the above-mentioned devices connected at the same time. Simple and efficient
This small piece of equipment is a problem solver . It requires no special drivers, plug and play . Switches fast between two computers . I use it on my work setup with a keyboard, mouse , and headphones. They switch seamlessly .

Buggy on my laptop
This would sometimes stop working on my windows Lenovo gaming laptop while still working fine on my macbook. After this bug happens, my gaming laptop becomes unresponsive and its keyboard doesn't work anymore - with the only way to fix being a hard reboot

Reliable and easy to use
I am using this for my keyboard and mouse on my desk to attached with my work laptop and home PC so that i can use dual monitor for work and not change my peripherals. Using it for a week, so far so good. No complaints.

Good enough
Only gripe is that you have to connect the output to the USB 3 ports only if you want it to work correctly. USB 2 ports will not work. You can connect USB 2 devices to the hub (input) but it will not work (even if you connect the extra power microUSB cable) if you connect the output to USB 2 ports. Most USB products are backwards compatible. This one is not.
