MOST ACCURATE OF 3 OTHER AFTER MARKET GAUGES ORDERED.
The gauge seems to work perfectly. I'm not sure it's going to be acceptable for use outdoors. Seems to have an issue with moisture collecting on the inside of the gauge. Too early to tell just installed it this week.(08/18/24) I will say this though I have ordered 2 other aftermarket gauges this one seems to be the most accurate.

Now I know How Much Gas I have
We no longer have to raise the seat to see how much gas is in the tank of our golf cart. This light up gas gauge saves us a lit of trouble. We don’t run out of gas, because we can see, at a glance, how much is in the tank.UPDATE: The sending unit (the part you put in the tank) stopped working after about 3 months. I still like the gauge, but I don’t like the sending unit. I bought a different type sending unit / float assembly.

Does what it advertised
Due to a wiring issue in my old muscle car the gas gauge simply will not work. This aftermarket universal gas gauge was easy to install and so far works great. Accuracy isn't bad, but the factory gauges back in the 60's wasn't all that great either. At least I now know when it is time to put gas in it and not constantly afraid I'll run out. It will do until I can pull the dash out and replace all the wiring.

No stated Ohms rating!
I ordered specifically for my 1974 Chevy truck. Which is a 30 ohm system. They said it was a match for the vehicle when I went to install it. It is not it is a 60 ohm so you do not get an accurate reading obviously I waited too long to install it because the truck was down having work done for several months so it’s not returnable and it’s basically a doorstop.

Fits well
As far as funtionality, I havent been able to wire the sensor yet. Leds work, guage is standard 2 inch. Only thing I dont like is the standoff style 2 point mounting bracket. These are known to break off. But at the price I suppose its fine.
