Yamaha NS-AW992BL 180 Watt 8-Inch Cone All-Weather Speakers (1 Pair, Black)

Sounds great. Nice size. I originally purchased Klipsch but they were giant. These were perfect for my application. The stereo backing them up is a killer setup from the 1970’s that has the power to blow them off the wall but I don’t plan on taking them that loud. The previous deck speakers were little Yamaha deck speakers that did fine for 15 years and finally started buzzing at high volume (although still great at mild volume.I made nice rain hats for the old speakers and added some plastic covers for the additional size. Outstanding speakers. I have these hooked up to a high end amp, with 140 watts a channel. The more you drive these, the more they come alive. Highly recommended. Best outdoor speaker I've heard. They are quite sizeable, so just be aware of the measurements.

Great sound and looks. I get a lot of compliments. I haven't turned them to full volume yet. 500 yards between us and the nearest neighbor, but I'm still worried these would be loud enough for them to hear.

Sound and look great! Deep lows and crisp highs. Clear even when cranked up. Highly recommend. Powering them using zone 2 on my Onkyo TX-RZ720 THX-Certified 7.2-Channel 4K Network A/V Receiver

WOW i luv this thing. I shopped around so much to buy a good speaker system with a decent receiver within my budget. I bought 4 speakers. And this thing exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone. Best buy and other places prices were way too sky high.

Can’t say how durable they are and how they’ll hold up with the NY weather, but after installing these, they sound great. You really have to push them though to come alive. I’m running a 60 watt per channel amp and with the volume knob abound 9 o’clock, it delivers. Other retailers still charge around $200 for them. I don’t know if I’d pay that much for them, but for what I paid via amazon warehouse deal, I’d say I lucked out big time.

Good sound.There are some noticeable resonant frequencies, but overall, these speakers perform well, both sonically and aesthetically.
