I just received this set. I am using it for Christmas presents. It does not look like a cheap frame. The glass is thick. The backing is plastic feeling, but is still nice and thick. If you would like a cheap set of frames I would highly recommend this. My cat has already batted these about and they have held up nicely. They came packed in a styrofoam lined box with a sheet of cardboard between each frame. Hope this helps.

i purchased these frames for a grouping of wedding photos and they are perfect! Understated but well made and attractive. The frames are beveled wood, good and sturdy and well constructed. They have real glass, the tabs that hold the photo and back in place aren't the flimsy things you so often see in less expensive frames, they're thick enough metal that they can be bent and straightened repeatedly without breaking. The backing is also sturdy, with good solid easels and hangers. They can be stood or hung either horizontally or vertically. They look as though they cost substantially more than they did, and are perfect for when you want something that looks nice without distracting from the content of the frame. They shipped promptly and arrived 2 days ahead of schedule!
