I ordered this beehive on Amazon.Thinking the item was from USA.Just surprised to received item made with wet wood from UAE only.No Hoover logo on beehive also.Im not sure why Amazon allowing this shoddy supplier.With disappointment I decided to simply keep the hive for drying.unfortunately bottom board cracked while drying.

I am so happy with this hive. It came in perfect condition and delivered quickly via Fedex. It is of excellent quality! The supers are cedar and the frames pine. I dont know why one review said the boxes were pine? Anyone who has ever had a hamster or rabbit knows the smell of cedar shavings. The boxes are definitely ceda! Everything went together quickly and easily like building Legos. 🥰The only negative is that the plastic honeycomb inserts for the frames DO NOT come coated with wax. I read somewhere they did so I didn't order separate wax. You need to buy your wax separate and apply a thin coating so the bees can get started. Will definitely be purchasing more.

Great starter kits comes with everything ...would order againjust make sure you pre drill your holes so the wood does not split as it is pine:)

This is my second order. The hive joints were perfectly milled to fit together gap free. Frames were milled with very tight joints. I was very impressed with the quality of wood. Shipping was very quick and arrived in excellent condition.

I haven't assembled the hive yet, but am impressed with the quality.Very well packaged and manufactured, with nearly 100% consistency across all joints, cuts and material - which, considering the number of parts involved, is top notch.I might even order a few supers if the bees get productive this summer.

I ordered 5 hives. The boxes arrived in good shape. The first one went together with no problem. The second box was missing parts, two short sides of the medium super and the queen extruder was cracked in the corner. The third and fourth box were like the first, only the extruders were fine. The 5th was missing the same short sides of the medium super, and all of the short sides of the medium frames.The seller offered to replace the missing and broken parts. I waited a week for an update on when the replacement parts would arrive and they could not provide a timetable. Fair enough given supply chain challenges everyone has, so they refunded the two hives that were missing parts. Would have been 5 stars but since I was their quality control they got a ding.I used glue and brads on the supers, but only brads on the frames so they are easier to replace pieces on as they wear out over time. Don't bother with the nails supplied. You will need a rubber mallet to put the supers together as the joints are tight by design. Pro tip, they only slide in easily in one direction. They took about 40 minutes per hive to assemble from cracking open the box to popping on the lid.
