Exactly what I needed to make mosaic marble tiles from leftover diy backsplash.

I am very new to mosaics. I figured mesh would be easier to use, in keeping pieces in place. Very effective in keeping tiles in place. However, when I try to move a piece, it gets corners caught and messes up the tiles around it. This could very well be user error, so I am giving myself time to learn the process. I love that I can keep lines straight.

Made a sunflower mosaic using broken china pieces and needed the mesh backing to glue the mosaic.

I made a fireplace surround. This was my first mosaic. The mesh worked great. All lines were straight, makibg it easy to align the tiles. It was also strong enought that I could tack it to the wall to see how it would look before permanently adhering.

my mistake was not what I wanted

I half expected this to have strings separating from the others, especially around the edges but was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I definitely recommend this.
