I couldn’t believe when the juice actually started to turn into slushy. My daughter was so happy and excited. In the direction it says 4 to 6 hours but it works beat when the cup is kept in freezer overnight

took 4 attempts to make this work.attempt 1: it was in the fridge freezer for 5 hours, probably not cold enoughattempt 2: in the fridge freezer for 18 hours... still not cold enoughattempt 3: moved it to the chest freezer for 2 days..... teeny bit of slush that floated in the middle then meltedattempt 4: freezer turned down to max, cup packed and surrounded with frozen veg to maximise freezing, and left for 2 days. finally workedyou will know when it is ready to use because the ice pack part of it will be completely solid. which it doesnt say anywhere in the instructions or any of the youtube videos we watched. british freezers might not go cold enough as they tend to be not as low as american ones.

Great once you get the knack of it. Pop in freezer overnight. By the next day it's chilled enough to fill and freeze quicker. We fill to just over half way. When you squeeze the juice reaches the top. Hold it there for a few seconds for the ice to form. Release and scrape the ice with a spoon from the sides. Repeat until you have as much as you want! The bottom will be making the slushie as you do this anyway so although it takes a few mins to get right, it's so easy and quite therapeutic! Would definately recommend.

I bought this for my little girl who is missing Slushies with the lock down. I came across this after looking at Slushies machines & thought for the price why not as it's reasonable. We put a fruit smoothie in as a healthier option to syrups & it works a treat.Looking forward to trying it out so I can make a cocktail or two for me. Would recommend if you like Slushies - super easy to make too!

To be fair I was sceptical... But.... Wow!! Just wow!!!... it works. We've used various fizzy drinks and squash abd all have made super slushees. And in minutes too.. mmmmm

My 7 year old daughter just adores this. It's very simple to use - just pop in the freezer until the sides are solid, pour some drink into the cup, and then after a few seconds of cooling start to squeeze the sides. In very quick order the drink starts to slush up, and after 30 seconds to a minute of doing this you have a slushy ready to go. Sometimes she needs an adult to get it going as the first squeeze of the cup does need a little more strength than she has.We've experimented, and her favourite right now is a healthy splash of strawberry squash diluted with cream soda (must admit, I like that too!). It does work better with a smaller amount of liquid, but this is a bit down to personal taste - the more liquid you put in, the more liquidy the slush will be - but you do find the balance quickly and the provided scoop-straw means you can bring it all together easily enough.Is it as good as a slushy machine? Of course not. For a tenner? It does a surprisingly good job.
