How many records will it clean before the brushes and rollers need replaced?

Depends on how often you use it. I bought this 4 years ago and cleaned a batch of records without issue. Now I’m cleaning another batch (both combined are under 200 records). The rubber gaskets in the rollers have shrunk and are wearing out. The rollers have ability to handle 10,000 washings theoretically, but time will be the killer no matter what you do

Bruce, the Spin-Clean is not powered, it is completely manual.  The records are cleaning by manually turning the records a certain number of rotations one way (3-4 recommended) and then turning it back the other way the same number of rotations.  The brushes remove debris and the solution hold the dirt and gunk on the bottom.

Does it work on 45's

Stuart, they've included positioning for 33's 78's and 45's. I have done a few of the 45's and, aside from the handy positioning of the rollers, those ultra-fine brushes, making a triple-pass on those grooves and flushing debris out, into the solution, are the knock-out punch for arguments against having one of these devices. I'm very happy with my later-than-never decision to buy one.

Does the Spin Clean protect record labels? Or will rotating the record allow cleaning solution to drip on and discolor the labels?

I have not experienced any label problems.  If you make sure you do not overfill the wash basin, and set the end rollers at the right distance, the label will not get wet as long as you withdraw the record right after the wash procedure and dry it.  If you have concerns about the label washing off due to the type of ink used, I would test a small area with no text with a damp sponge.  No ink should come off and it should not fade.  If it fades or washes off I'm not sure I would wash it other than by hand.  I have not run into any labels on 331/3 LPs that wash off or streak, same for 45s.  I have not washed any 78s.  I guess I have washed about 250 or more records with the Spin Clean and find it indispensable when buying used records and going back through my personal collection.  I even wash records that don't show any signs of dust.  The Spin Clean get down deep in the grooves.
