PAC RP4-CH11 Radiopro4 Stereo Replacement Interface for Select Chrysler/Mitsubishi/Volkswagen Vehicles, Blue

After installing a Pioneer head unit in my 2007 Dodge Nitro I wanted a sterring wheel control (SWC) module/interface to retain my factory steering wheel controls for the stereo. After installing two different SWC modules that failed to work - even after contacting tech support for assistance - I finally got one to work. The PAC RP4-CH11 RadioPro4 came to my rescue! After following the instructions, and making all of the necessary connections, my steering wheel controls worked flawlessly with the new head unit. I almost gave up on having the feature before I installed this. My only regret is that I didn't buy this one first. Pros: 1. You DO NOT need a separate wiring harness! It is integrated into the module. 2. Works right out of the box with no additional programming needed. 3. You don't need to cut into your factory radio harness! 4. You can re-map the buttons if you desire to do so. Cons: Even though the instructions are pretty straightforward, it can be a bit complicated if you're not used to installing car audio equipment.

After previously installing an aerpro adaptor and having nothing but trouble with the amp not turning on correctly I changed to this harness and everything is now working perfectly, amp works as expected, navigation commands work and bluetooth all working well. I had read some suggestions there could be an issue with the evic language becoming stuck on German after installation but am happy to report on my 2012 grand cherokee everything remained in english.

What can I say? Damn thing works as advertised. I installed a new Pioneer headunit in my wife's 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan because she only had the sh*tty stock CD radio that had no BT, no USB and no balls. This unit allowed me to connect all the wires in my kitchen (except for the microphone and USB extension, had to run those through the dash). When I went to install it in the van, it was four connections (the two mentioned plus the main vehicle connector and antenna) to sound nirvana; well, compared to what was there before. The Pac made installation super easy, the connector was just right, there is more than enough wire and the unit is compact enough that it just tucks behind the headunit as you push it into the dash. All the steering wheel controls work perfectly (make sure to read the instructions and set it properly for your make of headunit). Don't splice wires blindly ever again or risk setting off your airbags or blowing up your amps. Well worth the money in headache savings alone.

Yo lo instale en un Dodge Challenger SRT-8 2008 lo cual necesitaba retener la señal del volante y funciono de maravilla. Instale un Pioneer DMH- 241ex y el manual dice que va en el numero 7 del interfaz pero no agarro bien. Lo cambie al numero 8 y funciono de maravilla junto con los controles al volante. Mi carro necesitaba este interfaz debido a que trae sistema amplificado de agencia.

Se ajustó bien a mi Chrysler 300c 2008, aun y cuando el vehiculo no cuenta con el arnés original y tuve que identificar/adivinar cables. Funciones de volante Ok y cumple con su funcion de gestor de accesorios.
