Q: Does the tote have pockets on all sides, so a total of 8? And are there any dividers in the center bag or is it one large section?

1) No, it does not have pockests on all sides. It has 3 deep pockets on one side as shown, and 2 deep pockets on both ends. There are 5 exterior outside pockets. 2) there is no center divider.

Q: What is this tote made from? In one place it says "PVC Construction" and in another it says "entirely PVC free." Is it fabric or plastic?

It is made of a durable canvas. I believe it was 60 denier.

Q: How long is the strap? Can you carry this on your shoulder?

It is a hand-held carrying handle so no it can’t be carried on your shoulder as is. I think you could create your own shoulder strap though. It is a great bag anyway. I love it.

Q: Was this set all was made in usa or china? the description said designed and assembled in usa and down at the bottom it said origin china. confusing.

I bought it sometime ago and didn't save the tags so I'm not sure. It is made of sturdy fabric, but I've only used it a few times as it was bought late in the gardening season.
