bottle seal failure
I like the product, but use a filtered funnel when pouring. While pouring the fluid in my 2001 Silverado, I noticed what looked like an air bubble or something that didn’t flow like the rest of the fluid. The same thing happened on my 2012 Honda, so I used a filter screen inside my funnel while pouring the last bottle and captured a quarter sized piece of clear plastic similar to Seran wrap. It looks like the seal on the bottle top separated. So now I have two plastic membranes in my 2001 Silverado power steering system and one in my Honda.

Amazon needs to update website description for this product. Lubegard 20902 now looks different with a different name and does not list Hondas/Acuras as compatilbe vehicles.Search for the product on LubeGard's website (Amazon does not allow link in the review)It no longer the "Universal Power Steering Fluid" in a translucent bottle. It is now called the "Complete Power Steering Fluid" in a white bottle. Also, the website and the label in the old translucent bottle says it is compatible with Honda/Acura vehicles. The new white bottles have a label with an asterisk:For use in all power and power assisted steering units that require conventional PSF**Honda fluid recommended for Honda/Acura vehicles. See attached photo.

No mess to deal with
Excellent for any older vehicles. I love everything about LXE products and the benefits. Got to my address on time And wasn’t spilled everywhere! Fantastic!

The real deal.
Stopped a leak in our Lexus PS system. Saved me a difficult, messy repair. I use Lubegard products in all vehicles, and almost all fluids - engine, PS, AT, differential, and Manual Transmission. They all work as advertised and are good value for the performance.

Reduced noise and effort
Compared to the nasty fluid that was in the reservoir for 10 years and 86,000 miles, this fluid was much cleaner and resulted in a quieter pump with reduced effort at the steering wheel. I used a turkey baster to drain the reservoir. I did this enough times to use about 1/3 the bottle, drove for a month, then used another 1/3 of the bottle.Vehicle was a 2004 Buick Rainier with the 5.3L V8.
