Easy to install . Remove battery and coolant overflow tank first . There are three clips along cable to get cable out of . I removed hood latch which made cable end easy to remove and install new one . Cut nipple on fire wall grommet to make feeding new cable easier back into passenger compartment. Caulk cut nipple for water protection into passenger compartment.

Didn’t fit as oem - I was able to shorten the cable a bit and works fine now. 2002 Toyota 4Runner Limited
