Excellent monitor
I’ve had this monitor for a few months now and it has provided a much-needed improvement in my gaming experience. The high refresh rate feels very smooth and runs beautifully in tandem with FreeSync. So far I have not encountered any dead pixels or any other screen-related issues. Upon first using the monitor, to me the red hues especially were noticeably saturated. After some calibration though the picture now looks fantastic. The Gaming Intelligence software provided can alternatively help with this as it offers a way to switch to or create a different colour profile. This software can also be used to customise (or turn off) the RGB on the back of the monitor, or program the macro key on the underside of the monitor to switch to a specific input source, change profile etc. The stand for the monitor itself is nice and sturdy – there is very little shaking apparent even when the monitor is at its highest point on the slider. There’s also a range of inputs should you wish to use various devices with this monitor.

Amazing Response and Colours
Not sure about all these issues with colours but used an ICC profile and it worked nice. The contrast is amazing and it's great for gaming. Had issues with viewing the monitor over long sessions at first with eye fatigue but it went away with time. Nice punchy colours and great blacks. Slightly dark around the edges when looking at a white screen though but you get used to it. Response times were as good as my TN monitor from before which looked grey and had dull colours. All in all a great purchase and improvement from old monitor. Worth the money but it you want something better value, get the MSI G273QF has slightly less vibrant colours, same performance for games but a non adjustable stand.

Dead Pixel!
I bought this Monitor almost a month ago and I noticed a dead pixel already on the right lower central aspect of the screen. I was very disappointed , I send this Monitor back for refund as soon as I realise the dead pixel. This MSI Monitor MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD has indeed excellent picture quality and very vibrant colors, but if you get dead pixels not worthy it at all. I shouldn't have ignored the negative comments which was only 8% of the reviews at the time I bought it, I guess I was one of the unlucky customer or these monitors have serious dead pixels defect. I have sent the Monitor back and I am waiting for the refund.

Amazing monitor
Upgraded from an old 1440p TN panel and the differences couldn't be clearer. Brightness, refresh rate, colours, response time, viewing angle, overshoot have all been drastically improved and has made me realise what I've been missing in my subpar monitor. Do know that you should update the firmware of this monitor so that colours aren't oversaturated, really improves the viewing experience. At the price I got it for (£359) this is definitely the best 1440p high refresh rate gaming monitor on the market for the moment and would recommend to anyone looking in this price range and specs.

Great monitor. Does the jobs. Tons of features
If you're debating on monitors due to their lack of features like hight refresh rate and everything this is the one as it has loads of things on it.

Great monitor for the price!
I recently purchased the monitor for my son’s birthday, and it has been amazing so far. He has found that: - After updating the monitors firmware, the sRGB mode has stopped oversaturation, while the colours stay vivid and life like. - 165Hz looks very nice and is far smoother than 60hz, the monitor also works well at lower frame rates thanks to G-Sync - The high 2560 by 1440 resolution allows you to have lots of windows open at once without sacrificing readability - Building the monitor was straightforward, only requiring a couple included screws and a screwdriver. Overall, the monitor has met his expectations and has lots of features for the price. He would definitely recommend it, especially at the current discount as long as you remember to update the firmware!

A good monitor (But be aware of saturation and ghosting)
I was quite harsh with my initial impressions of this monitor, but after several months of use, it really has grown on me. It's incredibly sharp and bright (significantly brighter than any monitor I've ever used), the expanded colour gamut has the potential to be amazing (I'll come back to that). The build is sturdy and minimal (minus the rgb back), bezels are small and the feature set is desirable. Another thing that I really appreciate is actually the stand. I got a chance to try out an similarly spec'd LG monitor and the stand for that monitor just had way too large of a footprint and wasted space. The stand on this monitor has a much smaller profile and since its a solid rectangle, you can put stuff on top of it to make the most of your space. Initially, the colour oversaturation is just awful. I tried my best to compensate by adjusting the icc profile and settings on the osd software, I couldn't find an ideal middle ground. It doesn't help that the osd software is missing some desirable features regarding colour modification. I'm sure some people who are more technical than me when it comes to monitors will insist that I should have bought some colour calibration hardware or that I made some fundamental error. But I consider myself fairly technologically competent and I shouldn't have to buy some expensive tools to remedy a product that should be fit for purpose out the box. HOWEVER, for me personally, the colour saturation has grown on me overtime and makes everything feel quite nice and vivid. I really wouldn't recommend using this for editing/photo work even with the extended colour gamut, but its fantastic for games and general media consumption (which is what this monitor is marketed for anyhow). I also had some initial issues with ghosting and this threw me off. I was actually ready to return the monitor, but when I tried the previously mentioned LG monitor, my old monitor and monitors in my university office, I noticed ghosting present on all of these monitors. I don't know if its a general downside to the technology, a limitation on my end or if I just have super Saiyan eyes, but I did stop noticing it after a while. It's initially quite jarring, I can say after several months of daily use, it has in not negatively impacted my user experience in any significant way minus that first encounter. I would recommend this monitor for its nice form factor, brightness, refresh rate and resolution. Though please be aware of the issues regarding colour saturation, the fact that this monitor doesn't do much to drastically improve ghosting and the limited osd software. IMPORTANT: I won't deduct score for this, but if you are going to buy a 1440p 165hz monitor then please make sure that you have a graphics card that can keep a high and consistent framerate at that high of a resolution. It's quite hard to go back to sub 90fps gameplay and framerate inconsistencies can be very noticeable (more so than a low framerate).

Excellent gaming monitor - best I have ever had!
This is an excellent gaming monitor for people who want smooth 144Hz gameplay with instant response times! I am new to PC gaming, but wanted a 27" display that could fit on my desk and knew that at that screen size a 4K monitor would not be needed. The ultra-low latency made this the obvious choice compared to other similarly priced monitors. The monitor is connected to a RTX 3070Ti and they work perfectly together - my expectations have been exceeded! Also the USB connections are great for connecting my mobile phone and wireless headphone chargers! The stand took less than 3 minutes to assemble, and the instructions were clear and concise. The settings display is easy to adjust, with a red knob on the rear of the monitor. As someone new to PC gaming, this has been a great purchase, and I cannot wait to connect it to my Xbox One X and see how it looks on console as well.

Qualitativ hochwertiger Monitor, der hällt was er verspricht
Vorerst: DHL komplett versagt!

Perfect for content creation as well as gaming
This monitor had some issues at launch: images looks too over saturated out of the box. Yes it's kinda true, because it has a wide color gamut and it's not well calibrated as well as it has no option to clamp the color gamut. The fix from MSI: However, it's not the hardware that limits the quality of the image. MSI has launched a new firmware update for this monitor adding an sRGB mode as well as Adobe RGB and Display P3. So make sure you update the monitor FIRST before complaining. Thanks to MSI for listening to the customers. Color and (free) calibration: You also don't really need to calibrate much. Of course using a professional calibration tool, you'll get better results. But you can always use the free ICC profile from rtings.com and calibrate the white points with your eyes (mine was R90 G86 B92). Thanks to the wide color gamut and firmware update, this monitor is easily suitable for content creation as it does have a panel that has everything you need for professional content creation. Such as a high color gamut (99% Adobe RGB), 10 bit color and QHD. Gaming life better than real life: As for gaming, there's a small hardware limitation. This monitor is a 165 Hz QHD IPS monitor with 10 bit and with a QuantomDot layer. On QHD, you can only use 10 bit @ 120Hz. You can't use 10 bit @ 165Hz. If you want to get 165Hz, you have to enable 8 bit color first. Gaming performance is excellent, images are crisp and clear at 'fast' overdrive setting with no noticeable ghosting. It's not 1ms, but usually this is gimmicky as 1ms will bring you a really bad gaming experience. Colors are really nice and they pop out of the screen like it's better than real life. A monitor with QHD resolution is so much better than a FHD monitor, you can easily see every detail thanks to the high DPI. However, QHD will require your pc to run harder as it renders a higher quality image. I did notice slightly higher power draw. Verdict: This monitor, after updating and (free) calibrating, is perfect for everyone. Not a long time ago you needed 2 separate monitors: one for gaming and one for content creation. As there was not really a monitor that combines wide colors, high resolution and high refresh rate. This monitor has everything you need. A perfect monitor for content creation (QHD, QD, IPS, 10 bit, Adobe RGB) and a perfect monitor for gamers (QHD, 165Hz and some gaming features). Are you a gamer? You'll love this monitor. Are you a content creator (graphic designer or photo/video editor)? You'll love this monitor. Are you both? Well, this display looks better than your wife. I highly recommend this for everyone! Pros: - High color gamut - Adobe RGB, sRGB and P3 clamped color gamut - 10 bit - 165 Hz - QuadHD resolution (2560x1440) - Gaming features (night vision) - Extra button for Gaming OSD - Best software I have seen for monitors (Gaming OSD) - Pretty looking and very great built-in OSD - Great ergonomics (height, pivot, swivel, tilt and basically more positions than Lana Rhoades) Cons: - No 10 bit @ 165Hz - Ugly looking chin (still prettier than your wife, tho) MacAReview :)

Really worthy monitor
The monitor is awesome. Large margin of brightness, light-fast response, very colourful. Quite decent options of settings. I most liked the icc profile from rtings. Good build quality - nothing creaks. Frame is as minimal as it can get. The matte surface works well. Quite heavy and bulky stand, takes a lot of space in width wise. Despite the fact that I received the monitor with one dead pixel (I got lucky - barely can see it, otherwise I would return it), I like the monitor a lot. For that price its the one of the best.

Ottimo monitor per gaming (PC+PS5) e ufficio
In sintesi, Il monitor è eccellente.
