doesn't seem to hold an edge very good

No gaps between springs, liners, bolsters, scales. Good snap and lock up. Full brass liner between blades. Good hollow primary grind on both blades. Good final edge grind on both blades.The plastic scales fit good, and are probably tougher than real bone, but they look like plastic, as they are. As the USA made UH scales were.The blade steel is also on par with the original USA made UH.Less than $10 delivered. Awesome.Imo, these are equivalent to the no frills, solidly built, low cost working man's knives I bought years ago when they were made in the USA.Seriously, I have 3 new schrade OT/UH China made slipjoints. Many case and USA made UH and OT. I don't see a difference in fit, finish, function except in scale material. They will likely never be collectable or go up in value but are functionally equivalent to higher prices knives.I may buy another.

Great pocket knife. Hold an edge well.

the latest version of staglon looks/feels great. The knife I received did not look anything like the listing photo. Color was much lighter brown and the feel of the knife was more smooth, not like the staglon of my other knife. Wish I had sent it back, but now stuck with it.
