This are the kind of things that I buy and need to work. Well, it did. Fitted perfect and was able to fix my garage door. Very sturdy.

My father got gifted a used garage door opener, this was the only part he needed to make the whole thing work. Installed easily on the garage door, worked flawlessly with the craftsman door opener. I recommend it if you need to replace the door bracket of your garage door opener

Some idiot I hired to install my garage door motor attached it to the door using a left bracket. Since the arm was attached in the middle, it kept pulling it from the side so that it kept loosening the screws and tearing up the holes the screws were in. After consulting numerous manuals for attaching the motor arm to the garage door, I came to the conclusion that this was the product I needed. I looked everywhere for this. None of my local hardware stores, Lowe's, Home Depot, or Sears had this. Finally found this thing, the perfect mounting bracket for my needs. I used 3 screws to fasten this to my door and it has worked perfectly ever since. The screws stay in and don't get ripped out by the door opening. And at under $5, such a great deal for something I expected to have to pay an arm and a leg to repair.Note: this item ONLY comes with the bracket. To attach it to your door and arm, you'll need three screws, the arm itself, and the small horizontal bar that goes through the middle.Important: consult a manual (you can probably google the one for yours if you can't find it) to figure out the proper placement of this item on your garage door.
