We have a very stubborn hound dog who is capable of loudly barking at literally the sky, the ground, or nothing for hours. It's such an embarrassment when family visits and we're all shouting over him to talk, and extremely frustrating when I'm trying to work from home but have to crank the music to drown him out. I worry that our neighbors secretly hate us and he frequently ruins my daughter's naps. Other than his incessant barking though, he's the perfect family dog and is most importantly very sweet to her.I've tried other non-shock collars that auto-activate on barking, but they seemed inconsistent and he just barked through their vibrations like they were a joke anyway. I was at my wits' end, constantly yelling at him to PLEASE STOP BARKING FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.Thankfully I found the Patpet collar and it seems to be... actually working? Can it be true? With the remote, it's like he understands it's ME triggering the immediate negative feedback to his barking. Within probably 10-20 minutes I hadn't heard a single peep from him in the backyard. I don't think I used the shock function more than once or twice at low power, while the beep and vibration must be miraculously strong enough for him to actually notice compared to other brands! It's a damn Christmas miracle.I haven't had it long enough to really judge the battery life, but the collar and remote seem well made. The buttons are soft rubber and the case on the remote is very smooth. The remote's display (which is awesome) is easy to read. All the functions were understandable within a few minutes of reading the clearly written manual.Overall, this thing might have saved my relationship with my dog...

This device comes with 2 pieces, The remote & collar. The collar isn't too heavy for your dog. The vibration setting is super strong & painless. The sound setting is loud & catches the attention of dogs easily. The shock setting starts low & u can raise it higher.We tested the highest shock on our own human skin to test the pain. It is manageable.

Honestly, it has been amazing the last two years and worked really well for our dog who is a border collie that is extremely OCD and hyper. We were sad that the collar stopped working despite being charged fully this week of April 22, 2024. Almost exactly 2 years from the purchase date. Just FYI. We actually will probably buy another one.

I used to train dogs for obedience and agility for AKC some years back some I know what it takes. I am usually against negative reinforcement training but there are some dogs that are just some stubborn they just don't respond to positive reinforcement alone.Not all shock collars are the same. You really have to be careful because it is easy to cause damage to the dogs skin or worse. I was pleased how low profile the prongs were on the collar. Also the prongs are coated as well. That is important for dogs skin over the long term.Charging was very quick. It took about an hour when I first got it out of the box. The remote took longer than the collar. I love that you can change the intensity of the collar. I haven't had to use the shock feature of the collar yet on the dog (I tried it on me. It doesn't hurt its more of a surprise. That electric fence I touched was far worse). I have only had to use the beep, and the vibration feature. Both work fantastic. Unfortunately I usually have to use the vibration because the dog is very stubborn. But at least I can start working with him now. I am thankful for this collar. It is a step in the right direction if used properly.

Very successful
