A More Enjoyable Version than the Technical Original KPH30i
Just got the Clears yesterday, and it literally took me 3 songs with good sound stage to tell the difference from the originals. Comparisons were taken on non-modified pairs of Clears and Originals. So the KPH30i Clear, using the originals as the baseline:(1) Width +0.5(2) Soundstage +1 (sphere-shaped vs the original plane-shaped)(3) Imaging +1(4) Treble clarity +1(5) Mid-bass +0.25(6) Sub-bass -0.25(7) Frequency separation +2 (Bleeding -2)(8) Sibilant +0.25(9) Vocal retrieval +0.25(10) Forwardness +0.5(11) Crispiness +1The listening experience feels that the sound stage had extended from your jawline outwards (lower-right and lower-left), at the same time from the tip of your ears outwards (upper-right and upper-left). Imagine listening to music on two vertical flat pieces of film placed right outside of your ears (original KPH30i) then someone concaved the center of the film outwards (KPH30i Clear). Everything sounds a bit more rounded but with additional clarity.Tracks used for testing:Anton Kuertz - The Jungle IssueDeftone - Sushi TakeoutHarvey Sutherland - New ParadiseSpazzkid - Truly (feat. Sarah Bonito)DSF, Double Touch - FeléaArmando Young - Loved Ones (Saudades)Louis Benedetti & Selan - Reflection

Just awesomeness
Awesome , these take a few hours to free up soundwise so give them a few days before passing judgement, they are soft in the treble so no ear shredding with rough recordings . These are my preferred everyday headphones , yes I use way more expensive and 'better ' headphones and iems, but these just sound right , the kph30i should be in every music lovers arsenal, wear them for hours without any fatigue or want for more , the better the device they plugged into the better they get. Great sound stage and detail , no horrid suck out in the midrange and bass that totally belays the low price and humble size and price .💖 kph30i.

On the bad side of terrible
The Koss kph30i hurt my ears. Inside and out. Because it is made entirely of plastic, you can't reduce the pressure on your ears. The sound is metallic and sharp, not as pleasant as other products at this price point, sometimes slightly sibilant and strangely feeling too close to the ear compared to my in-ear set. My £21 JBL Endurance Run have Bluetooth, don't hurt my ears and sound better than the Koss (the JBLs have a bigger soundstage, better bass and are more mellow on the ear whereas the Koss are sharp and borderline annoying). What the Koss have for them is they are really loud. Good if you are as deaf as a pot.

First and Last Review..... Just Buy....
Right Clip snapped within the first week, do I care? Hell No, a little bit of tape and we are back in the game. These things are not overhyped, they don't perform well for their price, apart from the build quality, they perform incredibly full stop,!!!! I have headphone that are £300 plus that don't perform as well as these, and no I don't mean that the sound signature of different phones are more detailed, darker, brighter more or less soundstage, I mean that these things pound for pound are a heavyweight and compete with my DT880 600 Ohm, 1990, these are incredibly, just buy them, buy them now!!!Vocals are exceptional, the sound is like I'm in a 3 dimensional soundscape, it is simply incredible. Soundstage yes is far wider than my ears, and the warmth and the bass are surprisingly good and I don't get it... I don't know if it's due to them being on ear or a bit more pressured than regular headphones, fine they can get slightly uncomfortable after maybe 3-4 hours but TBH I'm nitpicking it doesn't really bother me per see, I'm just conscious at that time I'm wearing something on my head if that makes sense, rather than an unbearable clamp or anything of that nature.I am pairing with Singxer SA1 and these it's somewhat dumbfounded how these sound, the treble sparkle is unparalleled I have heard close to these are my KEF LSX and those are £900 speakers. Also shout out to the seller getting these into London from the US in roughly 6-8 days, fair play!!!!!The fact this is my first review should show you how incredible these headphones are, try them out, I know audio is subjective but these are on a different level, I'm extremely confident you won't be disappointed they are a masterpiece.

Believe the hype
These are phenomenal sounding headphones for the price. A lot of products are hyped up and reviews are far fetched, but these sound amazing for music and TV. Great balanced sound, lots of detail, smooth, good bass, fatigue-free treble. Lightweight. They are a little tight so I can see bigger heads maybe getting a bit uncomfortable after a while, but not worth taking a star away
