Achieve Perfect Fit and Seal In-Ear Fit Guide Sound quality and bass response are dependent on the seal achieved between the ear tips and your ear canal. Please try the various sizes of ear tips included with your earphone to determine which gives you the best sound and comfort. The sound may change depending on the insertion depth and tip size. To achieve proper insertion, pull up and back on the top of your ear (helix) and/or use a slight bit of lubrication/moisture on the outer part of the ear tips, which will help achieve the proper insertion depth and angle. If you feel your MEE earphones do not have bass or sound tinny, the fit and/or seal is more than likely problematic. Not as comfortable as I wanted - Always fall out!
I bought these headphones about 2-3 months ago because I was tired of the traditional hard plastic ear-buds you get with your phone/ipod - they always hurt my ears, especially after any kind of extended amount of time. I thought these would be a great solution since they have the soft rubbery buds - I was particularly hoping they would be good for sleeping while traveling. They actually may be fine for that purpose as your pillow would probably keep them properly inserted in your ear. Unfortunately I use them mostly walking across campus & at the computer and they are always falling out of my ears! The headphones come with 4 different sizes of rubber buds so that you can choose and get a "custom" fit - I have tried them all and still can't get them to fit properly in my ears, which is not only annoying but affects the sound quality. They claim to be "sound-isolating" which they actually do pretty well & the music quality is pretty good IF you have them sealed into your ears - but like I said I can't get them to stay in place, so most of the time I only get about 1/2 the sound & no bass. They fit fine for the first few minutes but after that (I don't know if the rubber gets too warm or what) they start slipping out & I spend the rest of the day trying to jam them back into my ears which gets really uncomfortable & I feel like I'm back to dealing w/ the old hard ear-buds....but w/ the added bonus that they fall out every 5 seconds. On an unrelated note, I'm not crazy about the material of the cord/wire that I think is supposed to be less noisy or something? In reality it's just too light so it doesn't hang down out of the way; it's always kind of a mess & actually seems to create more noise. All in all these headphones weren't the worst ever, but just disappointing.

These are tangle resistant and great for 10 bucks
I have purchased lots of this brand of ear buds.Pros: They don't tangle easily, which soft wired ones do.They are fine for Audio book qualityThey are an excellent value.IMHO Best $10 ear buds on the marketCons: They black to silver areas come apart with rough use. However if you place a drop of super glue on each side before using, they seem to last until misplacedIf they do separate, the little soldered wires break off and then they need to be replaced.

looks better than functions
It did not work right from day one. Could not return - received it outside the US.Opened the mike section on the cable and did some adjustments (I'm an engineer, can solder stuff). So it works, sort of.Will need to open again, because it starts and stops music at random (or, rather, depending on how the cable bends). The cable is somewhat too stiff, and they fall out of ears. But this alone would 'cost' the review 1 star; with the defect, I do not recommend the headset at all.

remember, they are airtight
These are in general good earbuds, and the mic works well. I haven't had too many complaints from people on the other end of the line. They are built well and seem to be reasonably durable after ~1-2 months of use. The bass is quite strong on these headphones, so you may end up readjusting your balance when using these. The noise cancellation is good, but it is so good that your voice doesn't sound the same while talking, and that takes some time to get accustomed to.Remember, these headphones form an airtight seal with your eardrum. I was using these on a plane and fell asleep during the flight, including the descent. I woke up midway through the descent and experienced the most excruciating pain I have ever felt in my entire life. I felt like I had needles running from my ears through my neck and into my shoulders. My ears did not get a chance to equalize and the next 2 days were brutal. The moral of the story is, DO NOT FALL ASLEEP WITH THESE IN WHILE FLYING. In fact, I wouldn't use them in a situation where your altitude is changing more than +/- 1500 ft. If you do use them while flying, take them out and let your ears equalize periodically.Good luck!

Awesome Value
For less than 20 dollars, you get a level of sound quality, built quality, visual appeal, and comfort that even the fine folks at Head-Fi can vouch for! Hefty bass, clear mids, okay highs, comfortable fitting silicone tips, very responsive microphone, and decently well planned strain relief on the jack and at the earpieces, etc..Dont take my word for it, check out their review and/or just spend the pocket change on these IEMs and you wont regret it.

Do not buy
I got better free headphones with my last cell phone.Pros:-kinda cool design-sound is fine-mic works fine and has a mute button on itCons:-Ear pieces fall off WAYYY too easily-the in ear pieces came out all the timeThe real reason I hate these is because the ear pieces (the rubber things) fall off all the time, so I was always left looking at the bottom of my bag for the missing ear piece. Also once I got them in my ears, the whole in ear headset part would always fall/pop out despite trying every provided attachment.Do yourself a favor and get something else. The pair I got with my Samsung cellphone were wayyy better, and were free-ish.

MEElectronics M2P-BK **** Very good
I've been using this since June 2011 and it's still holding up. Sound quality is very good for the price. The controller works as it should most of the time but there've been several times when i'm tring to skip a track and all of a sudden the volume just maxed out, as you can imagine I din't like that surpise. Overall I'd recommend this in-ear.
