Works great
I bought 2 of these to build my own water separator and filter system for my truck. Took a minute to figure out how to mount it, but for what it is these heads have been on my truck for 6 months and 2 filter changes and haven't had any issues

All aluminum, great casting.
Large inlet, outlet with plenty of room to port for smoother/better flow. Takes huge filters with proper micron ratings for Injector Dynamics injectors. VASTLY cheaper than most racing brand fuel filter options while meeting flow AND micron requirements . Five microns with proper filter. Big though (with filter).

Aluminum threads on aluminum filter housing bad for Cat 1r0750
i bought this, and the Cat 2 micron filter. But I realized this is incompatible with that filter as aluminum on aluminum in fuel is going to gall and the two will get welded stuck ruining the filter base, and you can not get them apart, so becomes a throw away. Some say put antiseize on, yeah sure, you want that grit running through your injectors? I ordered Wix 24770 which has a metal center thread and it wont gall and no need for ORB fittings you have to go to a hydraulic shop to buy. And no need to create a support bracket as the Wix 24770 has one designed in.
