First off, these emblems were exactly what I have been searching for. A simple LT1 5.7LTR emblem. A huge bonus for me is it comes in blue numbering which matches my car's interior/vinyl roof and a blue SS throttle body cover installed a year ago. I only had one issue with them-they are wafer thin. I have a 1968 Impala SS that I restomodded an LT1 into. I went low key with the factory emblems, with only the Super Sport emblem present on both fenders and the Impala SS emblem on the trunk lid. I added a 1962 Corvette Fuel injection emblem to both fenders, right above the Super Sport emblem, but felt it needed a bit more. Then, I found these. When they arrived (fast shipping) I saw how thin they were and for a brief moment, wanted to send them back. But I came up with a great idea to give these emblems a bit more heft. I found two plastic bin dividers, clear plastic and traced the out line of both emblems. Then carefully using a box cutter, I trimmed the plastic to the exact shape of the emblem, used two-sided tape and installed them on my Impala. Don't forget to peel off the protective cover on the emblem. A perfect, final touch to the car. Don't hesitate to purchase these.
