I wear reading/computer glasses and constantly have to take them off to look further away. I have misplaced them so many times because I set them down and they disappeared. I decided I needed something to keep the glasses in place. I looked at all kinds of holders and I liked the braided faux leather look of this set. I wasn't - and still am not - sure that the rubber type of ends are the best for holding glasses but so far these are working fine to keep my glasses where I can reach them. I think this set would be better if the straps were shorter. My glasses go all the way down to my rib cage when I take them off and let them hang. I would prefer they be higher up but so far, that really hasn't been an issue, just a little pet peeve. The colors are great and the quality seems fine. You also get two different microfiber clothes with this set. One of them has a plastic hook and folds into itself and I am obsessed with it. My glasses are always smudged and now, I hooked the cloth to the inside of my purse and can pull out the cloth and get rid of smudges easily then stuff it back into itself so it won't get dirty or lost. I know that the cloths are just an extra but they are a good extra. At this point, having used these straps only for a short time, I m going with 4 stars. My reading/computer glasses have thin arms and these adjust well and stay tight. I will be using these straps for my sunglasses that have larger arms which I think will keep them even more secure. Again, it would be better if the straps were shorter when using these with sunglasses too but I doubt that the extra length will be a big issue. I'll update if I have any problems with the ends breaking or loosening up.

These straps were reasonably priced and I love the little extras of extra rubber holders to attach to the glasses, the eye glass wipes, and the glass case. I also am impressed that the straps are so easily interchangeable - merely unclasp one color strap and place another on. Easy peasy! Other straps I've used never had that option...I always had to remove the rubber loops whenever I wanted to change to a different colored strap. I love the colors of the straps as well. The colors go with everything. I have been wearing my reading glasses with the straps and I LOVE the fact that the little rubber loops stay in place and I can actually close my reading glasses and the rubber loops do not impede the closure, which was an issue with other eyeglass holders I have had in the past. Some reviewers have commented that the rubber loops are too big to hold the glasses in place and slip off. I'm not sure that they understand that the metal rings that separate the two loops can be moved up or down...depending on the size of your glass frame. I moved the metal close to the loop that was on my glass frame...and it hasn't budged. Great product! I use reading glasses all day long and have tried many straps, but these are by far the best I've ever used. Also...from reading other reviews, customer support seems to be outstanding!!!

These are very stylish and work well - one thing that I was looking for that was harder to find is the alligator clips on the end to clip to the glasses instead of the loops that are harder for me to use as I take on and off multiple times in a day, however, the item also included extra loops that you can change out too if you prefer. Love the color options.

Updated Review: APRIL 2022 When I first bought them, the colors ran into my shirts. They fixed the problem and made the lanyards longer (from 26.4" to 31.5"), which they needed to be based on early reviews. In the last 4 years, wearing them every day wore off the lining. No worries, to be expected. I saw they made further improvements with the addition of the clip so I thought they'd be a little longer, BUT it seems they also made the lanyard shorter (back to 26.4") and now every time I lift my glasses to my face, the lanyard is so short, the arms of my glasses nearly poke my eyes! If you are a big person with big-size glasses, this is no longer the lanyard for you. Updated Review: 2018 The company contacted me and request that I try their new Eco-Leather straps. I must say after use, I am impressed. The straps are as comfortable as the leather straps they originally sold. The new longer straps were also a pleasant surprise as that was an issue before but not one that I found a problem. The look of the new strap was vert similar to the original straps, though not as thick. However, this was also a positive as the other straps, being shorter, could get in the way As far as the color issue I had with the previous straps... I have had these new straps for a little over a month and they show no signs of fading or most importantly, bleeding onto my collars where the previous straps left their colors all over the collars of my shirts. As far as the other reviews with the rubber holders breaking, I have not experienced that problem with the old or the new straps, and I use them at home and at work. It was tricky going around work with brown/black collars trying to tell everyone that it wasn't a dirty neck making my collars discolored! All-in all, I have changed my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars. Between the improvement of the product and the persistence of their customer support to contact me, they have earned it. I highly recommend these straps for your glasses. Original Review: I used this product at work and soon my collars looked like I hadn't washed my neck in years. The color blend into my shirt collars (especially the brown leather strap) and ruined my shirts. It was only 72 and comfortable in the office. The straps did their job and were comfortable but not worth the problems. Find a color in a metal or material that won't bleed.

Oh my gosh, if you’re like me; losing your reading glasses all the time? I have purchased 5-10 pairs of readers at a time, placing them in different locations around the house. Somehow they always get lost! I was hesitant in buying the eyeglass cords because I did not want people to see me as an old lady; even though I am a senior citizen. I saw the twisted cord in red, blue and off white with gold hardware clips and decided to try them . They are wonderful! I match the cord to my outfit! They are long, pretty, soft against my neck and lightweight. The clip can be placed anywhere on the arm of the glasses and is made to last. No rust or corrosion thus far. I purchased some for my mother - n - law and she loves them too. The price is affordable for 3pack. They are sturdy, lightweight, twisted soft material and easy to use. You will not lose your glasses again.

OMGosh, I am so pleased with these. They don't fall off my glasses, they are sturdy, although a thin chain, it seems very strong. Moves easily when I move. Doesn't get caught up in my clothes. I previously had a pkg of 3 of the ones with the plastic hoops on the end that go over the arms of glasses. They were a nightmare, constantly having to tighten, didn't last more than a couple months. These stay where you put them. I love these so much I am ordering more so I will never be without them.

Tried other straps but none worked. I only use eyeglasses for reading hence the need to have them constantly around my neck. The other straps’ plastic loop holding the frame kept getting loose just after a day or two. No amount of tightening (with the help of the clip above it) helped. One side of the eyeglasses’ frame just kept slipping out resulting in the loss of my favourite glasses during one evening walk. The loops on these holder strap cords however are still staying firm after 7 days! It’s a relief to say the least! Im not into promos much but I decided to take up the seller’s current ‘get another 4 pk free” offer. SIGONNA Customer Support responded immediately. Very impressive!
