Cleared my wine fast
I had a stubborn wine that remained cloudy after a few racks and several months. This wine batch was intended as a gift, so I didn't have the luxury of just leaving it be and clearing naturally. In this case it probably would have taken another 6 months on top of the six months I had it. Normally that would be okay, but normally my wines clear in 3-4 months too.I decided to use this clearing product because it is similar to what comes in a kit. I racked my wine again and added the product as directed. In 1-2 days the cloudy wine was crystal clear. I let it stand another two weeks then bottled.Worked perfectly and allowed me to present the wine as a gift in time for my friends birthday.I sampled the wine at bottling and the taste was not effected at all by the clearing product.Impressive, I got another clearing set now just to have on hand if this ever happens again.

worked perfectly
i had a stubborn mead that wouldn't clear but 2 days after adding this and it cleared up perfectly, seriously after 2 days it was so clear it was like looking through yellow glass. i don't have any pictures as i was eager to get it done and the aging started so ooops. still if you have some mead or wine to clear then i recommend this.

Best finings EVER!
As a beer maker and mead maker, there just isn't anything that clears a batch as quickly and as well as this stuff. I first tried it on one gallon of mead that wasn't clearing on its own and was flabbergasted at how it was dramatically clearer in literally hours. After 4 days I didn't see the need to continue waiting and racked off almost polished mead. This stuff will save you money if you filter especially making for less clogs. Don't even think about it if you want clear beer mead or wine. Get this stuff and prepare to be amazed!

Works FAST
I use a conical fermenter and pectin enzyme so most of the gross lees fall out during primary. I’ve always used benonite for clarifying but wanted to trust something different this time. I was degassing so I went ahead and added the Super-Klee and I just have to say WOW. There was a small amount of lees in the carboy so so figured since I was going to be disturbing it I might as well try it. in 24hrs double the amount of lees has fallen out of solution. This stuff was clear to begin with, now it’s CLEAR. I would absolutely recommend Super-Kleer to anyone.

It works equally as well as clay.
Good clarifying agent. I didn't notice a difference from using clay so I'm not sure it's worth the extra $$ but it does work.

Great for beer too if you keg.
Works great in beer if you keg your beer. I would not try for bottling because you need some residual yeast to bottle condition and carb. Regardless of what the package says, 1 pack will do a 12 gal batch just fine.

For clearing homebrewed beer
Work too much to get to make any beer. Rating is because I know the stuff will work; just can't say I've used it. My apologies, folks...

Sludge!? Yuck!!!
I followed the instructions after carefully measuring out only what I needed to clear a single gallon of strawberry wine. I bottled the rest of each liquid and stored it in the fridge. When trying to 'gently' stir in the chitosan (dissolved into warm water as per the instructions) for the second stage, the spoon instantly started to get sludge wrapped around it which had been floating just below the surface of this sweet, pink murky wine. I thought something was terribly wrong at that point but figured it was typical and that this sludge was all the 'crap' that would neatly settle down at the bottom...72 hours have passed and some clear slimy sludge is still floating at the top of the container. I hope the rest of it sank to the bottom. The opacity of the wine itself has not changed one bit. I fear the worst.I'm afraid this has ruined the wine... It's not going to be fun filtering out all the sludge floating around in it. I will update this review after I have tried to salvage it.In the meantime... Just do yourself a favor and forget about this stuff. I'm not some idiot that did something wrong, even if this was my first and LAST time trying this stuff. The instructions are so simple, it's hard to mess up. I wish I could say if bentonite works better but I haven't tried that stuff either. These positive reviews are sorely misleading. Shame on them for misrepresenting this product. I am quite angry.
