Perfect reading for a granny and grand-child - short stories just right length. Much better than Oxford reading scheme books - far far more exciting and engaging for the average 6 year old. Got it for my granddaughter and she loves it. Very funny stories and easy to understand/read!

ほのぼのとした子ども向け短編集
短いもので６ページ、長いもので35ページくらいの短編集です。複雑なプロットなどはなく、たんたんと物語が進んでハッピーエンドで終わる話が多いのが特徴です。もともと子ども向けなので難しい文法などは使われていなくて、簡単に読めます。263ページのペーパーバックですが、文字が大きく、大人向けのペーパーバックの半分くらいの文字量です。 勉強のために読むには適していますが、感動するとか、ワクワクドキドキとかそういうのはあまり期待できません。そういう話を望む人は、ロアルド・ダールなどのほうがいいでしょう。 同じシリーズで５歳から１０歳まで、Funny、Adventure、Magical、Scary という分類の本が出ています。
