Contrary to the bad advice already given, the enable port does NOT need to be utilized. By default, it is pulled up so the buck converter works without any connection. If you desire remote control of the converted, a low will disable it. You do not need to provide an enable, since the input is pulled high, internally. If you do connect to it for remote control, then it is good practice to not let the input line (wire) float and pick up stray voltage/noise. But only if you actually connect a wire (antenna, really) to it.

You have two choices. You can use the trim pot and a volt meter to dial 5V in. The better option is to cut the trace between the pad on the back that leads to the pot and solder the two pads together by the 5V marker. Mine came with a picture of where to cut. The latter is much more work, however you will have much more stable output over time. I would seriously consider this approach especially if you plan on using this for a long time. Pots tend to get dirty and start fluctuating in value. This is accelerated if it is exposed to high humidity. I personally don't like the fact that these are set up for the pot with a trace. I would much rather put a bead of solder in to choose either a fixed voltage or the pot.
