Put my baby to sleep! 💗
Super great my cat had no trouble eating them. They did smell quite terrible like iron pills... They helped my cat relax pretty quick. After she ate them she got sleepy and super relaxed and fell asleep next to my head :). Id say its super effective im going to test it with her car ride to the vet and see how she does since she has terrible car anxiety. Thank you so much :)

Product has changed.
I have bought this many times before & cat loved it. It worked great. Now product has changed. Dried out & hard. Cat won’t eat them. Dissatisfied with current product.

Nice to have for bumptious kitties.
These chews work pretty well on my fractious old lady cats.

Has helped a very tense cat!
A friend of mine adopted a cat about a year or so ago. This poor kitty looked to have come from a pretty dire situation. It was a purebred cat that had obviously been used as part of a breeding mill. She was extremely frightened of nearly everyone and everything. She didn't even know how to play with toys and would only chase her tail, a sign that she spent much of her time cooped up in a cage. (She now knows how to play with toys!) My friend, who has had a lot of experience with various cats, wasn't even initially able to pet her. Over time she's opened up and can be pet, but even now you have to be careful with how you pet her or she will freak out. Picking her up isn't even an option, which makes any sort of medical or preventative care truly difficult. Now while my friend has been helping this beautiful cat adapt to a normal, loving household, the cat still has issues with stress and anxiety. She will often over-groom, leading to scabs and bald patches in her coat. Fleas have contributed to this some, but the main issue with her has been and still is anxiety and stress. We have some calming diffusers and those have helped, but more was needed. I got these just under a week ago and they've made a marked difference, particularly when paired with the Bayer II flea treatment. There's a marked improvement in her coat and demeanor, plus she's easier to approach. She doesn't really even react as much when you pass by her, something that's really nice as cats should be able to fully relax in their homes. I can't vouch for the taste myself, obviously, but I can say that the cat absolutely loves them. My friend has another cat that doesn't need these, but also loves how they taste so he has to be kept away or he'll try to figure out ways to steal her morning treat - not that she gives up these treats willingly! It's already become a daily morning ritual that she looks forward to. I'm absolutely buying more of these, particularly since they're so reasonably priced! I purchased some pricier ones at PetSmart that neither cat would even touch (CatMX), so it's nice that I can get good, helpful treats at a reasonable price!

Cats wouldn't eat
Can't get my cats to eat it. Neither of my two cats will attempt to eat these treats. One of them gave a half hearted lick and walked away. Tried cutting them up and putting in Churu to make a paste and that still didn't entice them. Separately, my wife hates the smell of the treats and wants them out of the house for that reason.

Honestly, my personal quality of life is improved by these treats.
Heads up: This is a long review. I'm really in love with this product, so I spent a lot of time writing up my situation but in case you're in a hurry... TL;DR: My boyfriend's cat is evil. After the treats, she's measurably less evil. My anxiety levels have returned to normal. ----------------- I bought these for my boyfriend's half-feral cat, Ashe, because she's frequently aggressive by normal cat standards. By half feral, I mean that one of her parents was domesticated and the other was feral. Before the treats, Ashe was really uneasy, aggressive, moody, and didn't like to be pet. She'd come up to the arm of my chair and claw at me, or when I was walking across the living room, she'd run up to me in the threatening manner, etc. She did some stuff to my boyfriend as well, biting him very deeply after we THINK he might have rolled his chair back onto her paw (we're uncertain if that actually happened, just a theory to try to explain why she's such a freakin' demon cat.) She caused me a lot of anxiety because she was so an edge all the time; it made me incredibly unhappy to be at my boyfriend's apartment. You see now why I wanted to get the treats. Anyway, I'd read of the reviews that said their cats turn their nose up at the treats, but for me, it was worth it to risk the $5 to see if she improved. I'm so glad I did. Ashe LOVES them. If she sees that you have the bag, she begins drooling. Not only that, but she actually seems happier. She's less aggressive overall, enjoys being pet a little more, and she can sit down now and just chill...like a normal cat. This drastically improved my personal well being because I wasn't stressed to the max all the time having to be around this tiny demon (a term that has now turned a little more affectionate than before). To be clear, the treats aren't totally behavior correcting, but I never expected it to be. Even my boyfriend who was open, but skeptical, to the idea of the treats noticed and appreciates the positive change in her demeanor. Ashe has become more of a loving cat to whatever extent her evil little mind can muster, which honestly is way better than living in constant fear living with his damn cat.

Either my cat is too old, or this product doesn't work...
I have a 15+ year old cat who's been with me for the majority of my life. She's been with me since childhood and when the time came for me to move out of my parent's place - the cat came with me. However as my cat is getting older, her behavior is also changing. What was once a relatively chill and calm cat who helped me manage my anxiety with her presence and only really meowed loudly/excessively when necessary, has developed a habit of yowling at all hours of the night while I'm trying to sleep, when I'm on the phone and when I need to work (my work involves recording/filming, making this meow-bombing very inconvenient). The cat also has a clean bill of health, making this new behavior doubly strange... Granted, I fully accept the cat has her own anxiety: she had anxiety during the initial move, she's the only pet in the household, she's become a cat living with 3 or 4 humans to a cat living with one. My work either involves me going out to work or bunkering down at my computer doing work for hours at a time, but the classic "just spend more time with the cat/make her feel special" hasn't been too effective at stopping the yowling either. She has a full bowl of food, full bowl of water, plenty of toys she doesn't really use (again - older cat) - so what's with the loud meowing? I figured now would be the time to get calming treats - if this cat loves anything, it's food (and treats are cheaper than an air diffuser). Sadly, these treats were the first result and I've come to the conclusion that either the treats only have a 50% effectiveness rate or that my cat may just be too old for these treats to be effective... Some nights, she'll get a single calming treat before bed and I sleep like a baby without getting woken up at 4am by meow-bombing. Other nights (even after one or two treats), I'll be hearing the song of her people... Even while trying to work during the day, the treats can't seem to keep the cat quiet or calm enough - her cute, normal, healthy meows replaced with howls that can't be healthy for her and throw a wrench in our human and cat roommate relationship... No amount of talking softly, petting or bonding with her will stop the meowling. Granted, these treats are NOT a sedative - I didn't want a sedative for the cat. I just wanted a treat that had the right ingredients that would reduce whatever feeling is making my cat howl and cry out for the cat gods of mythology. But again: these treats' effectiveness might just be a coin flip or my cat is just too old. As it's my first time using calming treats at all, this has been pretty discouraging and while I will continue looking for something that can help my cat and prevent her from meowing herself sick - I'm going to be a lot more apprehensive about it and won't be buying these again. I'm just happy she seems to like the taste - so at least they're still functional as normal cat treats for her.

YOU CAN TAKE THE CAT OUT OF THE ALLEY… BUT YOU CAN’T TAKE THE ALLEY OUT OF THE CAT
OUR JEKYLL AND HYDE PETITE RESCUE CAT A while back, we rescued a poor little kitten who showed up on our doorstep. She was completely feral, and our daughter worked with her for a couple weeks to make her tame. Now she is one of the sweetest of cats… except that she has this Jekyll and Hyde thing going on. BULLY You see, we also have a gentle giant male cat that is about twice her size. Unfortunately, she sometimes bullies him mercilessly. Not always, but sometimes she gets into a mood where she stalks him, shrieks at him, and then chases him with a vengeance. She also flips out when she is startled by him. I’m sure all of this behavior is related to her feral days when she had to protect herself and she had to forage for food. IT REALLY WORKS! — REACTION SIMILAR TO AFTER A KITTEN NURSES So, in desperation, we decided to give this product a try. IT REALLY WORKS! Our little alley cat starts to knead blankets and then gradually falls asleep. It’s almost like she had just nursed from her mama. I’m sure the colostrum plays a major role in this aspect. BOTTOM LINE — YOUR RESULT MAY BE DIFFERENT, BUT EVEN SO, THESE MAKE A GREAT TREAT Bottom line: Every cat is different, so you might not experience a similar result. However, given the low price point, it’s worth a shot. I will say that both our cats gobble up these treats… evidently, they taste great. So, even if you get a different result, your cat will probably enjoy this product as an occasional special treat.
